2009 Mr.O predictions-

well, with Dexters size, its hard to say, but deff between Heath and Dexter, Jay will be top 5. but I still wanna see WOLF!!

agreed. Here recently I kinda see Dennis Wolf as the new Gunter. Hes got good size, good symmetry and its hard not to love him. I just hope he brings up the right places (calves being a prev. trouble spot) and doesnt hover in the top 5-10 spots, w/o ever winning an arnold or olympia, like Gunter.

I'm actually the most interested in the Ben White vs Johnny Jackson Powerlifting Competition.

There's a twist however, another bodybuilder, Stan Efferding, who just recently got his pro card, has offered betting his H3 Hummer against both Ben White and Johnny Jackson, proclaiming he would out lift both of them. Stan Efferding is also a competitive power lifter (so is Johnny). The contest is combining raw dead lift with raw bench. Normal PL contests also consider your squats, but Ben White has requested to not include squats

off MD:

Stan Efferding aka The White Rhino, Worlds Strongest IFBB Professional Bodybuilder and #1 ranked Raw powerlifter in America competed on Saturday Sept. 19th in an SPF sanctioned Raw powerlifting meet at Supertraining Gym in Sacramento California, as promised, one week before the Mr Olympia and recorded the current highest Raw powerlifting total in the world in any federation and any weight class. Stan squatted 821 pounds, benched 606 pounds and deadlifted 793 pounds Raw, with no bench shirt or squat suit, totaling 2,221 pounds weighing under 275 pounds. This eclipsed the 2,217 pound Raw total by the #1 ranked raw powerlifter in the world, Latvian Konstantin Konstantinov who recorded his total lifting in the 308 pound class.

I hope Dex takes it. I would like to see Dex reach the level of fame that Ronnie had

I am a huge fan of Dexter, but this late in his career, there is no way in hell he will reach Ronnie fame.

If Kai comes in any better than he did at the Arnold, the Sandow is his for the taking, with his size and condition its just too hard to beat.

I disagree, have u seen Heath?

don't forget about Tony Freeman.. he sent some cell phone pics of him at 3 weeks out to my buddy, and damn. looks ridiculous.. tiny waist.. cannonball delts.. really lookin' forward to the results of this O. then we can all debate the outcome..

Alright brotha, so unfortunately as i would have thought most of the guys were really trying to keep their physique hidden. Kinda disappointing, but Kai was looking effin huge, he looked like a little bull sitting there! Dex was looking the same way, ill tell you one thing though i hope Dennis James falls to last place the guy is a ****, Kai, Branch, Dex were really humble and genuine, Kai took the time to have a conversation w/ pretty much everyone. And Branch looked BIGGER than Markus Ruhl, dude was just stout. The 202s David Henry was SHREDDED, really nice too, Kevin English looked massive not quite the conditioning of David though, and he has like zero personality, Flex Lewis was one of the coolest cats out there man, really genuine kind of guy. Anyway sorry i didnt have a better update for yall, hopefully some of the guys will make a surprise appearance at the Expo today, im gettin ready to head out there in a few minutes. They have the prejudging today so if i see or hear anything about it ill be sure to post it IMMEDIATELY!

Oh yeah almost forgot, Toney Freeman was wearing a tank, dude was swole as hell, looked like he brought his A game this year, about damn time!

i like Flex Lewis. His calves look like tumors.

David Henry is the man.. The dude has such a dense, physique, and one of the best backs ever.

Cant wait to see some pics today.

Heath left earlier than everyone, kinda pissed me off, surprisingly Jay did too. Wolf looked pretty massive. Man I met Ronnie today and the dude looked like he could easily jump on stage today and take the trophy, he looked in competition form, I told him he needs to get back on the stage and he simply replied "I know, I got to man!" I'll post some pictures of him soon, once i get them on my computer

wuts the 411???

I was able to catch about 20 minutes worth on bodybuilding.com. It's hard to tell. Gustavo Baddell actualy looked like the guy who made top 4 at least 3 years in a row, but his color was off. Markus Ruhl and Tony Freeman didn't look like mass monsters next to who ever they were standing next too. Jay Cutler deffinately looked better. A lot of people seemed to have Jay matched for size this year, but he probably looked the best in his lineup of six people(sorry I can't be more specific about what that lineup was). Dexter Jackson did what he used to do. No real weight gain from last year, but he had the crazy deffinition he used to be known for.

I forgot to mention that I didn't really see a mass monster this year. There were so many big guys that the other big guys just blended in, or at least that's what I thought. Plus, I only talked about the guys who's names I knew.
