Stomach Blubber (not VAT)

a friend of mine was asking about supps. to decrease ab fat. He's got love handles and fat hanging over his belt buckle. My understanding of VAT is that its behind the abdominal muscles and the stomach has a firm feel. This is not what this guy has...very soft and squishy type fat. ..hes also relatively thin at 40 years old.
any ideas..?

Not a whole lot you can do except a spot on diet and exercise. At his age a cortisol blocker may be something to look into as cortisol levels tend to increase with age. Lean FX or Lean Xtreme are top notch.

ah cool...I was wondering if a cort blocker might help..
oh, how about a good nutrient partitioner..could NA-RALA or Glucobol help?
thx..

I didn't think about Glycobol, that could be a big help. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
Give Andrew732 a shout, that's his product.

Chances are high that he has abdominal obesity (visceral-adipose-tissue and subcutaneous-adipose-tissue), assuming no other medical condition has been isolated. In the presence of abdominal obesity, fat loss is difficult without selective cortisol inhibition (assuming proper diet and exercise). Remember, the key is to selectively inhibit cortisol (via 11ß-HSD type 1 inhibition), not annihilate it! Without selective cortisol inhibition, abdominal fat loss will be a challenge. Besides, insulin sensitivity might be impaired; the testosterone:cortisol ratio might be compromised; and the markers of cardiovascular and endothelial functions may be depressed.
If I directly recommend VAT! Attack, it will certainly be perceived as biased. So, I would like to invite you to take a look at this: http://anabolicminds.com/forum/usp-labs/127274-vat-attack-uspowders.html
Afterwards, the choice is yours! :bandit:

Glycobol plus VatAttack would be ideal, its sounds like he has a poor test to cort ratio, also due to aging has wrinkly skin.

What you're not talking about is his diet & excercise. You can mask the issue with supplements but if his diet is off and he doesn't do a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio (500 calorie sessions) 5 days a week then he will never rid himself of the problem.
