Full DoggCrapp Training Routine

Okay, good luck with DC style calfs- pardon my french here but to say they hurt like a bitch would be a helluva understatement...

I have been on an absolute mission the past 6 months trying to finally do something about my calves. I have been hitting them 3 times a week using different routines and I just started using a routine that Dante posted on his website using the treadmill. Progression has been slow at best, but I realize that this is going to be a long process due to my genetics.

i'm up to doing them with 270 for the leg press calf raises, it sucks to stand up after. calves are up to 17" tho

Sweet weight easy! Im up to 260kg which is about 573lbs on standing calf raises, im around half an inch behind you in size :) how do you find leg press calf raises in terms of getting the stretch going? I might consider using them sometime...good luck bigmoe65 I know how you feel my calves were 15 and a half inch before I started lifting but my chest is a total bitch to get growing, the extreme stretches are helping a lot I think though..

seems to work nice, i guess it depends on how long your legs are vs where the stops are on the leg press. at my gym its perfect where i get a max stretch

do your guys feet slip off at all?? I'm having problems getting over 8 reps without resetting my feet which ruins my rhythm. That goes for Standing Calf Leg Raises, Seated Calf Raises, and Leg Press Calf Raises.

watch the Jason Wojo vids @ youtube as he is a DC Disciple...or the Wojo video where he explains the DC method... or goto intensemuscle.com where you may get to speak with DC himself or talk to his hundreds of followers....

i have his cycles for pennies somewhere..if i find it i'll post it

I do on seated, not on standing or leg press

just put a little more toe on there. its still going to work your gastroc and soleous just as much and give you a more effective session.

People should go check out intensemuscle. I'm not interested in training DC at the moment, but there is so much great info on that site. I am going to incorporate the stretching in my routine though. It really makes sense.
