This was my first cycle and I finished my PCT about two weeks ago now. I didn’t feel there was a need for another H-Drol log but I did want to give a review on my first cycle. Overall, I was VERY pleased with the results. Here is what it looked like.
Cycle:
First two weeks Pre-Load NOW Foods, Hawthorn Berry 550 mg (1 cap 2 times a day).
- This seemed to give me a slight head ache about an hour after taking it. Allergic reaction?
CEL H-Drol (50/75/75/75/75/100) Dosed (25mg at 6am and 50mg at 4pm)
- I felt a little zombie like the first 2-3 days and then again when I bumped it up to 75mg for a day. I felt a little lethargic at times but nothing that wasn’t manageable.
- The first week I was so sore from my work out. Not sure if this is because I switched things up or if that is something normal that happens.
- I ate like a horse! This was the first thing I noticed as a positive side (came in week 2).
- Libido seemed unaffected throughout.
- Around week 4 strength & size were increasing really well.
- Week 4 I injured my leg playing soccer. BUMMER! No more lower body until 2nd week of PCT
- Weeks 5 & 6 my appetite decreased but gains (size & strength) kept coming. I think maybe not doing lower body had a little to do with this. I always eat a lot the days following lower body routine.
- I wouldn’t go to 100mg again. I had to try it, # of caps came out just right and so far I felt great on this cycle. I wouldn’t say I had gnarly sides or anything when I bumped to 100mg but I just didn’t feel as good. Didn’t feel as clean. If that makes sense. I gotta say right here that Cycle Assist did a GREAT job. I felt great all the way through with no sides. I felt it kept up the whole time until I went to 100mg. My urine was clear the whole time until the last week at 100mg it went to a darker yellow. I was still drinking about 2 gallons of water every day too. Not a big deal but I didn’t see anything change as far as gains either so it just doesn’t seem worth it to me.
CEL Cycle Assist (throughout cycle 4 caps 2X a day) Dosed (11am and after 9pm)
- Extremely pleased with this! I can’t say much more than I already did above. I felt like it did the job for sure.
- I did feel the same kind of head ache all the way through with this as well. I’m assuming it was from the Hawthorn Berry. Not that bad of a head ache just kind of dull nagging kind.
Taurine (throughout cycle 3g 2X a day) Dosed (with H-Drol 6am and 4pm)
- For me this was the champ! Twice I had some back pumps killing me after dead lifts and going into my lunges I didn’t think I would finish. Took 3 grams of Taurine and they went away in a matter of minutes. After the first incident I thought it was in my head but the very next week……it was like an instant replay.
Post Cycle:
First week of post cycle I felt exhausted. Shutdown? I was also pretty beat up physically from my soccer season and I know my body needed a break. My work outs were a little mellower this first week and came back hard for week two.
CEL P.C.T Assist (throughout post cycle 3 caps 2X a day until it was gone) Dosed (6am and after 9pm)
- Great product! When I started researching for my first cycle this product had not yet come out. I had sourced all the ingredients of P.C.T Assist for my first run. Then CEL came out with P.C.T Assist and beat the cost if I had put it together on my own and with no capping! Except for the trib but I had that already. Way to go CEL!
Penetrate / Androstenetrione 6-OXO (starting first week of post cycle 200mg for 2 weeks and 100mg for 1 week) First 2 weeks Dosed (100mg 6am and 100mg 9pm after shower both times) 3rd week Dosed (100mg 9pm after shower)
- I was going to go for a fourth week but had to fly out of the country for my grandfather’s memorial service and didn’t want to risk customs.
- Seemed just fine at three weeks. I saved the rest to mix with Formestane during my next PCT.
Tribulus / I cap these (throughout post cycle 1g caps 2X a day) Dosed (6am and after 9pm)
NOW Foods Maca 500mg (throughout post cycle 2 caps 2X a day) Dosed (6am and after 9pm)
- I have used these two (NOW Foods Maca & Tribulus) in the past as a naty test booster and had good success.
Anabolic Xtreme Lean FX (starting third week of post cycle 1 cap 3 times a day)
- Took this for 2 or 3 weeks and didn’t notice anything, which could be a good thing I guess. I might give it to the wife and try my next run without it to see if I notice anything different. Sorry, no help to the guys who are undecided on cort control in PCT. I wanted to do my first run RIGHT so I didn’t leave this out.
Over all I gained around 10lbs (I think I would have gained more could have kept going with lower body) and kept around 8. Started at around 186 and I’m at around 195 now. All my lifts went up dramatically!
