Original StimX expires jan 09

Pitch that stuff and buy some Slim Xtreme (better than the original StimX you have).

The thiamine analog goes bad, when it says its expired, it really is.

There are a few things I'll trust past the expiration date - milk and eggs being two of them, but ONLY about a week later. If the milk tastes the same, I'll chug it and buy more. If the eggs are getting older, I'll make a big omelet. But expired supplements get treated to my local landfill. Let the anaerobic bacteria enjoy them. ;)

Damn are you sure??

this is the ORIGINAL stimulant x we're talking about here..

The bottle smells just like it did brand new.. inside the bottle I mean of course..

I mean, there's no stopping you from taking expired Stim-X just like there's no stopping you from drinking/"chewing" expired milk.

The aneurin dbe has a tendency to degrade over time, and get kinda funky.

why do so many ppl like the original i looked at the igredients, nothing special

Well what are you looking for to be able to call something "special"? I mean, are you looking for super-mega-stimulant-3-methyl-fatburny-eine?

As Mr. T's character on the A-Team used to say, "I love it when a plan commagedder 'ike dat." Aneurin-DBE and a specific blend of methylxanthines play a pretty big role in how effective the stuff is. If it were nothing special, and yet so successful, people would've replicated it within the past 3 years since it's arrival.

EDIT: I don't mean this in a mean or defensive way with regard to the product at hand, but moreso for everyone to take a step back and ask themselves what makes something worthwhile as compared to what makes you want to purchase it. The two are not always one in the same. Look at alcohol-diluted gasoline being sold for a penny less than the undiluted gas station across the street. Fuel economy takes a hit, which depending on the price, is not justifiable by the cost difference, and yet there will be a line to the pump. Alcohol is roughly 20% less efficient as well as corrosive to certain engine-types. If you have an expensive sports car in need of gas, don't try to save a buck by using lower grades of gasoline, karma strikes when the engine corrodes and/or accumulates bulk carbons and needs replaced. Average dilution is around 10%, for places like BP. 10% dilution * 20% decrease in mpg = 2% less costly. For a $2 gallon of gas, we're looking at 0.5% decrease in price for 2% less mileage, and the fact that we've just wasted our time waiting for a pump to open.

Hi ubiyca

For a while I have wondered what exactly have been reformulated in SX since the original StimX. However I was not able to find a label or find a written comparison. Can you photo or write down the ingredient on your original bottle ?

Thank you very much !

It's not the exact same formula

The thing that made the original so good is a thing called Anerin-DBE

which is in the new SX.

Thank you very much... for the answer. However I was interested in what where different rather than what where the same.

expiration dates are always really weird, if you took that on 12/15/08 its not expired but 2 weeks later its not good anymore.

is it still safe to take?

I have like half a bottle left

????

white small caps

Yes, it is safe to take. I have a bottle myself and have taken it a few times in the past couple months and it works just as well as when it was brand new.

Supplements are not milk and eggs. Generally, the exp date on pharmaceuticals is the point in time when the active has potentially lost 10% of potency. It is 99% of the time still safe to take (there are some exceptions of course). Supplements should be very similar, although in reality the exp date on them is rarely actually known...due to the fact that they are often novel compounds. Most just kinda guestimate and put a 2-3 year shelf life on their products.

Hell if you're gonna toss them, send them to me instead. I'll take them off your hands.

Its illogical is what it is. We're not talking about food where there is concern of bacterial contamination. There are instances where a drug could potentially degrade into something else...a compound with different effects...but this is quite rare.
