Kentucky Grilled Chicken

If you haven't tried it yet, then do yourself a favor and give it a go. I don't really care for KFC's fried chicken, but the grilled is good to go. It is just what the doctor ordered now that I am back on the Anabolic Diet after a 5 week layoff (I just could not even look at another steak without wanting to barf).

Oh and speaking of the AD, it is the real deal. I didn't gain any weight after coming off of it, but man did I start feeling crappy in the gym. This is my first week back on and I am feeling like a champ again.

I plan on giving it a try one of these days. I see that you mentioned that it was a little greasy, is it grilled with the skin on?

Yeah it was. Which didnt bother me cause it wasnt super thick, and i just peeled the skin off the breast. The legs.. skin on... good ****

I liked it... little greasy but hey.. good for a cheat day i suppose

The grilled chicken has very little fat or anything in it. The only concern is the amount of sodium it has. This could be a cut meal.

I was more worried about the grease in my bucket... but ill try it again tonight cause im mega hungry...

Well I am not speaking from experience I only saw the nutritional information so if its really greasy might wanna watch or maybe blot with a napkin

Oh for sure... Although i have eaten so much chicken since i'm cutting that i have to cringe to choke it down. And i'm a damn good cook. Just that chicken taste...

I may not go to KFC.. lol

Nitrates = bad (cancer), exogenous hormones in food = bad (cancer and other problems), antibiotics in food = bad (drug resistant bacteria)

I would avoid, if possible.

if you down gallons of chicken from that place sure, but a peice here or there, wont hurt you

1-1.5 g of fat is usually standard in chicken breasts.

Also, I think you will find yourself hard pressed to find food without nitrates, hormones, antibiotics, or all of the above in today's world. You can find them but your gonna pay a pretty penny.

I know tyson chicken doesnt use antibiotics or some of their packaging says that.

KFC is notorious for having higher concentrations of nitrates than just about any other chicken out there - that is what gives it that weird "pink" color. Sure, a couple of pieces aren't going to kill you, but considering how anal most on this board are about commitment to diet and exercise plans - I thought it would be worth noting.

Lol I didnt say it would be a smart idea all the time, I am just saying look at the milk you drink. Most of it has steroids and antibiotics in it. Many foods have those elements in them.

I agree with you not a good idea to eat when you know about these elements being in the food.

I liked it. It is still on the greasy side, but it's quite good.

I never eat fried chicken, but I love it, KFC is good, Popeye's is waaay better.
