This reminds me, though (warning for Democrats)...The current Miss America; I thought she was super gorgeous and attractive. I saw her on the news a while back and she was talking about random stuff and then she was asked a question about Obama and she said something about him being such an intellectual giant and my brother goes, "Who's this ugly b*tch?" - I couldn't stop laughing, because literally 10 seconds before we were ooing and ahhing over how hot she was.

yeah asking a beauty pageant winner what she thinks about current events or poliitics really is counter productive just like you have mentioned with you and your brother. They just should be hot and shut up, no one cares what they have to say lol. I mean seriously no one cares. I am not even trying to be mean here. Just honest.

as a father of a 6 year old girl, the last thing to me that these ladies are is role models. FOr many, after just listening to them speak, shows they are uneducated, and are just there as a result of their outward appearance.

I would never want my daughter trying to emulate that

Well, yes, lol...Maybe what I'm saying is I hope the pageant turns around a little; there have been some very respectable and educated women involved in it in the past.

Give me a break. Role models? Kids biggest role models are there parents. Why do you think so many kids grow up to be so messed up. Maybe there wouldn't be gay people if heterosexual couples didn't do such a pisspoor job of emulating a healthy heterosexual relationship to their own children. Hell, maybe you guys just aren't praying hard enough, or to the wrong God.

I will agree with the past, now it is a sham. In the majority, they sound down right foolish (keeping the inappropriate words on the side)
 
I saw Donald Trump talk about this on O'reilly's show last night. I was very unimpressed with what he had to say...Basically he said, "Hey, it boosts my ratings. :)"
