How many people on here are Abusers?

From what i've heard in this forum over the years i'd say about 50%. I think about half the people deny or lie about how much time they take off and how much they actually use. I think most people on here give very conservative advise versus what they really do themselves. What do you think?
 
I agree that there are probably people that give advice that they don't practice themselves, but I can't even try to guess how many people are abusers.

I personally have only done 1 cycle in the past 2 years and that was for 3 weeks, ending just last week.
 
The question is, How many people will admit that their abusers? I'm on my 4th PH cycle in a little over a years time. Definitely a cycle too much in my opinion, especially since i'm only 22. But I know what i'm getting into and how it will effect my body. All I ask is respect by others for what i put into MY body, knowledge of course is always appreciated, but everybody is entitled to do what they want to do.
 
i think you would get more positive response if you didnt call it abusing..many take more than a 4 week cycle of epistane at 30 mgs a day if thats wat ur asking..but i doubt they consider themselves abusers..maybe just educated and experienced users
 
well everyones goals and recovery aspects are different....so everyones definition of abuse will be different....a guy on trt doesnt need to take as much time off in between high dose test cycles as a normal guy....if i were on trt i would only wait 4 weeks and jack my test dose back up....but still recomend to other guys to take 8-12 weeks off...everyones situation is different...

If you want to get technical anyone who takes steroids without a medical reason is an "abuser"

All the guidelines people give on here are just suggestions, which have been developed by non-medical users.
 
I have thought about asking this very same question. I just got done with my first 12 week cycle of test.....nothing but positive. I have to say that I have been sceptical about whether people take their own advice out here because I have already seen that being "on" is somewhat addicting. But I am glad that people out here are conservative with their recommendations because lots of people out there are really looking for the excuse of "see they do it too!" so they can get right back on regardless of the problems that it can cause....good post
 
it's hard to say because what could be considered abuse for some might be maintenance for others. Do you use for career purposes ie sports, modeling etc? Can you hold what you have without anabolics naturally. are you running it because you want 10lbs fast or because your benching 175% of your weight and want to bench 200% etc. Do you really really have your diet on point (using a nutritionist single digit bf etc) Is your training really on point? I mean if you do 3-4 cycles in a year and gain 10-15lbs each cycle and are keeping it your way below your genetics. So many factors.

i personally, planned on cycling a couple times a year when i first started...however once i got into it i realized that if u plan on living "the bodybuilding lifestyle" then maintaining in between with a low level of test is fairly reasonable. but thats only reasonable if ur deticated..that doesnt mean partying on the weekends

mooch... in my eyes TRT is just a bullshiit term for "cruising"

well...if your actually cycling it is...and in our applications, both of us being healthy 25 year olds, it would be cruising....but if you actually need it then its trt...
 
well lets see... ive worked out naturally for 6 years, and i took a cycle of hdrol. and now i play on running mdrol after 125 days since hdrol. is that abuse?

no i'm implying that most people on trt are just cruising but in a legal choice of words.... like people with a cannibus card are just getting high.

im also agnostic, and athiest... i think that qualifys me for having an open mind. but let me guess youre probably christian yourself lol

Ya, ok..lol Because there is no one on legitimate TRT. Maybe "most people" on boards geared towards steroid users..

People with that type of thought process, is why it is so hard for people with legitimate reasons, to get TRT.

Comparing it to a cannabis card is ridiculous.

Have to disagree with you there my wife is a licensed nurse and works for Sutter in her endo dept where TRT is given almost everyone on TRT 40-50's they are regular looking middle age guys not in the least jacked. Although I do agree if your in your 20's early 30's jacked up and getting your TRT through mailorder where you control over the dosage it's most likely cruising.

well ofcourse theres legitimate people on trt, but on these boards......umm yea. theres also legitimate people with cancer who need the cannibus card...
we know where this is going. the problem is the ammount of denial on the board is as strong as someone on juice. wait....? lol

and the reason its hard for people to get on trt, is because the DOCTOR knows they dont need it. not because the doctor is a member of anabolicminds.com and knows hes bullshiiting lol
 
I have been on TRT for about 4 years now and I truly feel great, much better than I did when I was in my 20s;however doing drugs and drinking alot played a huge factor in those years. Many people including myself need TRT, do I need to do cycles no, but I do? TRT doses range from 100-200mgsEW or even every 2 weeks, however; blood levels are much stable at 1 week dosage intervals. Crusing to me is going above my trt doses when I'm suppossed to be on my TRT phase (not cycling thats a differnt story) so for example, I use 400 test and 150 deca for 12 weeks and then jump back on cycle, now that to me is cruising. You shouldnt bash it, you may need it one day yourself. In your 30,s your t-levels begin to decline and when you start loosing muscle tone, are fatigued, loss of strength and libido these are all tell-tell signs.

Or cruising could consist of staying on 500mgs ot test for a year. Same idea applies here, anything above your normal trt/hrt range.

Do you understand the difference in getting on TRT, VS getting a cannabis card? I could walk into a DR, say i have phantom back pain, and get a canni. card.. I can walk into a Dr, get extensive testing, come back with low test, and STILL likely not get TRT..

With weed, yes you are getting high. There is no real measurable data.

With legitimate TRT, you are taking only enough test, to get you into optimal range, it is not recreational in the least.

There is a HUGE difference in how the drugs are sold, and regulated.

But seriously your attitude is the exact reason why people who genuinely NEED it, can't get on TRT.

i knew this would go here, but ohwell. i hate morons. the first paragraph was just idiotic...that is not even close to a fact. purely your bias opinion on what a DOCTOR would say, i repeat a DOCTOR. for a guy who talks about legitimacy, this was the most unlegitimate comment ive heard. it is in complete paradox with your first response to me when u complained... I am not an abuser, but I am OCD when it comes to supps. I find myself always buying more than I can take! Luckily, Maui doesn't carry many of these online supps so I can sell them off.

Im going to call this a positive here. I will be willing to say that there are an abundance of individuals that say what they know is the "right" answer. But, if you could look into their private life, you would probably find people running crazy cycles, and not even doing pct, or even practicing safe lifts in the gym ...

Hell, you'll probably find 20% don't even know how to script up a program on their own, just the power of google and some spinning of the material and pasting.

The biggest one is the diet. I can't say how many, but I know there has to be a large number that say they have this solid meal program, and probably eat trashy foods all the time .... dunno, but your on to something here.

I don't know if YOU have ever been to a Dr to try and get TRT, or done any research on the subject(you clearly haven't) I have been through it, in REAL life..

Additionally i have quite a few friends with "cannabis cards" Dr's hand those things out like candy canes. Are you disputing that statement?

If you pulled your head out of your ass, you would understand how hard it is for the avg person to find a Dr who A. Understands what proper TRT is. B. Is willing to put you on TRT without your test being almost nil.

Go read the anti aging forum, and how many people get turned away, trying to seek help, for legitimate reasons. Everyday there is a new thread, about some legitimate case, getting turned away.

I said it is your "OMG STEROIDS" attitude why Dr's are scared to prescribe them for legitimate reasons. Because you, and the general public think anyone seeking test replacement, is looking to be a big 300lb meat head, rather then looking to not feel like death every day of their life. And by they way, i got quite a bit of experience in that dept to, and i will give it to you, dope withdrawal is ridiculous. I helped a few friends detox, and it does look like one of the absolute worst things to go through. My one boy had a 2 bundle a day habit, and came to stay with me for a month, while he got better, and it was ****ing hell.

Most of the time drugs are not the problem...theyre the solution. but u'd have to be an addict to understand that. soo personal choice? umm kinda...but usually its a self-medicating choice, its a desease of the mind. and living a life and never running into it is hard to do, trust me

I think there are a fare amount of "abusers" but the definition of the word is different from person to person. One person that takes huge doses of test might get great results and see no problem while another person might think he's a crazy abuser.

I guess I would consider a person an abuser if they create permanent health problems for themselves due to their usage.

Lastly I i am going to point out from extensive reading on these forums I notice that Mooch has been posting here for years and is quite respected , you on the other hand I have no recollection of.

Nobody cares! what does that have to do with anything? No way is there any kind of religon in this post, so leave your beliefs out of it! You and others like you make me sick! I have run half a dozen cycles half of them m1t... what an idiot i was, young in rush to be buff and strong and who cares what my "goals" were it was stupid.

This however is a bodybuilding forum and unfortunately when someone makes it their life mission to be "hyooge" instead of healthy, things get a little blurry around motive, efficacy and physical intelligence.

Theres always going to be some study and some new way to do things but if you dont care about your health why do you workout? To be big to lift heavy weights with a screwed liver and no hair?

I think the OP intent was to ask a very important question about why there are so many guys in their 20's trying to down every new compound. Pulsing, stacking and bridging are retarded IMO, all just stupid reasons to push the envelope and throw caution to the wind in an attempt to get another pound or two or muscle with hormones instead of hardwork.

I know what happens when you cycle ive done it and i ran my pct and ancilliaries but guess what it was never enough. By saying to yourself its ok to take hormones to look better you say to yourself you dont care about your body and your health, you enter into a unwritten contract saying i am open to being unhealthy. So why eat well and excercise? ITs seems bass ackwards to me logically. So if your cycling dont make it like your some good guy hero fighting the peoples war against skinny genetics admit you are vain and insecure and want some muscle to go with your ego.

I still want to cycle sometimes and its oh so tempting to "get on" the next big thing and then life will be perfect! Well if i wind up bald with liver probs, tiny balls and cysts in my body then what will it be for? How many times should i roll the dice with my health?

Good post, on topic. i think anyone who has not strongly considered their health is an abuser. Also i consider anyone who cycles is an abuser, abuser of their body. This is no different from drinking, smoking and doing other rec drugs since they are done for pleasure, different strokes for diff folks.

Everything has side effects to bodybuilders hormones have mush more desireable side effects or else they would have another hobby/vice.

I think the OP intent was to ask a very important question about why there are so many guys in their 20's trying to down every new compound. Pulsing, stacking and bridging are retarded IMO, all just stupid reasons to push the envelope and throw caution to the wind in an attempt to get another pound or two or muscle with hormones instead of hardwork.

I know what happens when you cycle ive done it and i ran my pct and ancilliaries but guess what it was never enough. By saying to yourself its ok to take hormones to look better you say to yourself you dont care about your body and your health, you enter into a unwritten contract saying i am open to being unhealthy. So why eat well and excercise? ITs seems bass ackwards to me logically. So if your cycling dont make it like your some good guy hero fighting the peoples war against skinny genetics admit you are vain and insecure and want some muscle to go with your ego.

I still want to cycle sometimes and its oh so tempting to "get on" the next big thing and then life will be perfect! Well if i wind up bald with liver probs, tiny balls and cysts in my body then what will it be for? How many times should i roll the dice with my health?

Well i meant to speak for myself and i guess i identified with my own stupidy compared to what i see others constantly parade around as intelligence.
