Feedback on Chest Progress

Hoping to get some feedback guys. I decided not to post this in my progress pics thread so that hopefully I can get a few more views and opinions. So, apologies for that.

After my initial weight loss two years ago, the most lagging group I have is chest (and it really bothers me. I have a diagnosis of BDD over it.) This is kind of hard for me, but I want a hard honest opinion(s) since I do not see changes myself. Have I made progress over the last 4 months? I have been working hard on my chest and my working weights and max's have gone up quite a bit - something around 25% higher since last fall.

This is 4 months progress. My weight in these pics is within 1 pound of identical. What changes to you see, if any, and what area of the group should I focus on to make improvements? (What looks like gyno is loose skin, BTW)

You have added better shape and imo it looks thicker than the first pic....To me you also look leaner in the second pic.

Thanks guys. Its just so hard to gauge any improvement in my chest for me. I have been hitting inclines hard lately. Its like I ever seem to get ay bigger, my skin just stretched and swallows it up. Perils of being a former fatty I guess.

Ah well, someday, I will have that 50 inch chest. Don't know when tho.

Question for you two (or anyone else looking). I need help with lower chest, but declines put a huge stress on my shoulder, almost like it is ripping my rotator out. I think my form is OK, but it should not hurt like that so I tend to avoid it. Is there anything else I can do to build mass and work on lower chest without it.

Wide grip dips will build the lower chest...I just started doing them myself as I need more thickness in the lower peck as well....Declines tend to put entirely to much pressure on the shoulder girdle.

Agreed.
Decline presses/movements are not healthy to do if you're looking to stay fit later in life. They will impact your AC joint like no other. Also, S.L.A.P. tears are common with these.

I suggest a simpler route: Have your feet 24'' (2 feet) at minimum above your head while in a push-up position. Your hands should be 8-10'' from shoulder width, while your thumbs are pointed directly at one and other. Look up and forward while performing push-up; at the top contraction, squeeze your pectoral muscles for 3-5 seconds, then lower yourself back into the starting position to repeat. This will aid in overall Chest development, but really focus on your outer and lower region.

Great improvement; keep the determination and dedication going, man!

looks as if you leaned out a bit

but look as if you may have gained some mass as well

your upper and outer chest look more defined as well as your front delts. I recently wrote a paper on BDD and I know it can be tough bro. You have made some good progress, keep on pushing!

Found a Pic from 6 months ago

Here is a new pic to better judge progress on. This is from October 08 when I started working on chest. I was right at the end of my summer cut, so my abs were very clear. And, from what You guys have said, they are starting to clear again as I go to the summer. I am starting to focus more on them, but should I do a full bore cut to clear them up or keep trying to gain mass and just ignore a summer cut??
