Jacked...No Effect

First let me start by saying I have no problems with USP and have enjoyed every other product I've tried from them.

I got my Jacked from NutraPlanet this week and was very excited. However, my first workout with it I went with 1.5 scoops and I didn't get any effects from it. Yesterday I tried it at the full 3 scoops and still felt no effect.

I'm 6' 225 lbs and I had previously been using NO Explode and had good results from it.

Just curious if anyone else has come across this experience and if so...should I try going with 4 scoops.

Again...I'm not trying to blast USP, just so happens this one product doesn't seem to be working for me.

Ive taken this 4 times pre workout now.

1st time - 1.5scoops
2nd time - 3 scoops
3rd time - 4 scoops
4th time - 4 scoops

Havent noticed any notable effects from it so ive decided to try the next 4 workouts without it and see if i notice the difference.
 
I work 3rd shift...so I wake up...eat something small like a yogurt...relax/focus, talk to the wife...and then workout. I'd say it's an hour after eating.

I have hypoglycemia...I have to eat something before I workout or I crash in the middle of it.

But if food was the problem...wouldn't it have happened prior with the other pre-workout formula?
 
First off I really think you should switch what you eat pre workout, to some sort of complex carb(oatmeal, brown rice). Also how long have you been off of other pre workout products?
 
took the other stuff the workout before the first time I tried this stuff. And my food intake prior to working out usually consists of yogurt.
 
Like I said I strongly suggest consuming a complex carb source pre workout instead of the yogurt. Also you should probably take a break off of any pre workout product for 2 weeks, and than start up the Jack3d again.
 
Not doubting what you say...but if the other stuff was working great the last time I took it, why wouldn't Jacked work now?

I could understand if I had grown too accustomed to the caffeine, but with the effects I was feeling, I apprently wasn't used to it yet.

(and I was only using 1 scoop of the other stuff)
 
I have seen a few people say that Jack3d had not worked for them, but they tweaked there schedule/dosages for a couple days, and found there sweet spot, but maybe you are a non-respondent to Jack3d. A USPLabs rep, will be able to help you out better.
 
You guys just are not sensitive to geranium... most people are. It took me 4 months to work up to 2 scoops I got so wired. Some don't get much out of it that's he way it goes sometimes.
 
firefighter2032 I am right the with you... I respond well to the NOXplode and love that stuff. I saw the advertisement for this stuff and did a little research on it. I ended up buying even with folks telling me I was going to have a hard time sleeping since I WO around 730 or 8... so far, not a problem. This stuff doesn't really do much for me. I had a decent pump the first time I used, but now... not much to really say about it other than it does not measure up to the hype it gets... at least for me any way.

In case anyone is curious about my schedule, I eat a good meal around 530. plenty of carbs and protein. I wait 1.5 hrs and take the jacked then wiat another .5 and workout.

The NOXplode had me jumping through out may workouts... this stuff barely get me through.
and... I have been off the NOXplode for over a month. I will not purchase this again and even considering taking it back to the store for a refund.
 
Just an update im now on 5 scoops pre workout (empty stomach).

Have managed to get the BA tingle coupled with some more mental clarity but thats it.

The pump was insane the first few days but has died off.

Also at 5 scoops i am burning through the tub like a mf'er
 
5 scoops....damn....I cant go over a scoop without feeling like a crack head....im extremely sensitive to jacked
 
Some people are simply so tolerant to geranium (and other ingredients). This boggles my mind, as i have said before a scoop or two max is great for me.
