*Notes- Saturday around noon, I went to the gym with my roommate because he has been my lifting partner of late. We weren't at the gym but 20 minutes and he started b*tching about how he wanted to leave and was hungover. So after writing down my sets and reps for DB Military, I just put my notebook away and hit everything else as fast and as hard as I could because I knew my roommate wouldn't stop bothering me until we left. Anyway, my strength was pretty good on the DB Military Press, but I wasn't able to gauge it on any other lifts because of the pace I had to go at. My endurance did seem pretty good though, having to go through a bunch of lifts quickly, so I wouldn't have to listen to my buddy complain anymore.

Libido- Not as high, but still good.
Strength- Good. Most Noteable to me.
Body Composition- Roughly the same, a little leaner at most.
Vascularity- Same
Pump- Pretty good shoulder and calf pumps.
Mood- Good
Recovery- Pretty good. Calves are sore though because I tend to neglect them.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- None, I am sleeping better when I don't dose at night.

*Notes- I didn't really get to keep track of my diet on Saturday because I was too busy getting ready for my gf's Formal that was that night. I probably took in around maintenance cals. I took my last dose of Formex at 4 because I knew I wouldn't have any time to take it later on in the day.

*Notes- Well, my strength felt good today. I hit a personal record on SLDL and I think I could have banged out another rep or two. Actually, felt like I could have hit a few more reps or put up more weight than I did on a few lifts. I definitely could have gone heavier on the reverse grip bench, but it was tedious trying to get someone to spot me since I didn't have a lifting partner yesterday. Overall it was a great workout.

Vascularity- Same
Pump- Not much, but I've been going for strength lately. May up my reps and see what happens.
Mood- Moods been pretty good lately, but I kind of snapped at my girlfriend yesterday... may be some aggression.
Recovery- meh, my back is pretty sore today, but my tri's aren't at all. My shoulders are sore which is weird.. either from rev. grip bench or sleeping on them wrong.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- A little noted aggression, see mood. I've been sleeping fine lately.

2 caps Formex @ 5:30 pm (1 hr preworkout)

*Notes- I have been bad about writing down my diet lately, but I know I probably ate a little bit above maintenance yesterday because I've been using my weight gainer between meals for some extra cals. I decided to dose both caps today preworkout and I had a great workout, so I might do that on workout days.
 
Recovery can't be measured by soreness alone. If you workout hard enough, no supplement is going to deny the onset of DOMS.

*Not much to not on this off day except for I noted my libido in the morning as being around normal to maybe a little low and then about 1 to two hours after dosing my first cap of Formex, I felt a surge in my libido and had to call the gf up.

At This Point in my workout, I wanted to switch up my lifts a little bit. I took 6-8 seconds on both the concentric and eccentric phases of the rest of my lifts for the workout. The idea was to recruit more muscle fibers without having to use a lot of weight.

*Notes- I decided that I wanted to do a whole week of slow reps, but was kind of scared that I'd lose some strength if I did the whole workout like this, so I started out lifting heavy for one lift for both chest and bi's and then I moved on to the slow reps. I felt really strong on bench and was surprised at how light 225 felt. I definitely could have gotten 8-10 reps with a spot, which is better than ever before for me. The rest of the workout was pretty good because it was different than what I have been doing lately. I really felt a good pump that I haven't felt in a while.

Libido- Normal
Strength- Awesome
Body Composition- leaner?
Vascularity- Same
Pump- Pretty good with the slow reps
Mood- In a pretty good mood lately.

Well, I've been at 2 caps the whole time so far, but I'm not quite sure if I want to stay at two or go up any. I have been seeing pretty good results in strength at two, so I think that I'll stay at two unless I feel like my strength is plateauing, I might bump it up to three. If I stay at 2 caps i'll probably just stop cold.
 
UPDATE for Day 16: OFF Day. Consisted of some active recovery, showing my gf how to do some lifts in the gym. The most exhausting part was mentally, trying to get my gf not to just hop on the treadmill for hrs, but to actually lift. The hardest part was getting her to go to the gym, but once she was there she got into it. I could tell my libido was up cuz I couldn't wait to get the gf in the shower after the gym. Anyway, not much else to note for yesterday. Gonna go hit Quads, Shoulders, Calves, maybe Abs in an hour or so..

It's all good, I'm noticing more endurance right now than a strength increase but that's only because of my routine. When I start a new one I'll be sure to see if my strength starts to shoot up so I can start hittin some PR's too. ;)

Yeah, I noticed the others logging Formex are noting endurance too. I think it is dependent on routine though and what you are going for. I have been doing low rep, so it only makes sense that I would see my strength go up instead of endurance. For now, I am loving my strength go up, so I won't be going for endurance until I start to plateau.
 
UPDATE: Last night I dosed 1 cap of Formex around 10:30 pm and had no trouble getting to sleep and I slept perfectly throughout the night. I just thought that I would note this since earlier on in the log I thought Formex might be making my sleep choppy (as in waking up multiple times during the night). I might test this out again and see if my sleep is affected, but I like to take my Formex pre-workout so we will see. As far as yesterday goes, I had an upset stomach all day, so I didn't make it to the gym. I will hit Quads/Shoulders/Calves later on today. Feeling good and ready to "Suck today's d*ck".

I bought two bottles so i'll try to ramp up from 2 to 4 and down to 2 again. I'll see what it does for me on my recomp.

*Notes- I didn't even notice how much stronger I was on DB military until I looked back to last weeks workout. Last week I got 65's x 3 and 70's x 2. Another thing I noticed about the DB Military was that it was easier to actually get the weight up on my shoulders and get that first rep up (usually the hardest). I think both the 70's x 5 and the 75's x 2 (+1 w/ help) are PR's for me. I also felt pretty good on leg press, but I don't have much written down on it in terms of where my PR's are for it, so I will see if I can do more weight next week. When I got to the leg presses, I noticed my stomach started to hurt. It may have been because I took my multi on an empty stomch, not sure. I was also really tired after I hit leg extensions (that last rest pause set took a lot out of me and I stumbled into the wall after that set). I noted that I was looking wider when I looked at myself in the mirror, but it could have been a difference in lighting as I was at a different gym than my school gym (my gf and I just got a membership at Ozark Fitness, so that I have a place to work out at over the summer because the University gym will be closed). I also noticed some good veinage in my shoulders, not due to being more vascular, but being leaner, I think. sry for the long note.

Libido- Normal to high. def not as high as the first week on Formex though. Maybe estrogen is suppressed too much?
Strength- Pretty Amazing.
Body Composition- Well, I think I'm getting leaner.. can't really tell what changes I have made unless I have something to compare them too, so I can't wait to compare before/after pics. My chest is also looking beastly this morning.
Vascularity- I had good vascularity for an hour or so after my workout last night.

Recovery- Well, I benched heavy on Wed, and and had great strength in my shoulders on sat, but that is 2 days rest, so you tell me.

3:30- 9 Cheddar Cheese rice cakes
5:30- after waiting an hr for my gf to get ready, went to the gym.
7:00- 3 scoops Gatorade mix (~4 1/2 tbsp) in water
7:30- Big bowl of ?fajita soup? (dinner at gf's mom's) (had beans, chicken, cheese, added crackers, other crap)
9:00- Cinnamon Raisin bagel w/ cream cheese.


*Notes- Wrote down half of my diet yesterday and I had to remember the other half. I forget to write down when I take my fishoils, but i had 4 caps am and 4 caps pm. I could be taking in more cals for sure, but I am really poor at the moment and am low on food, so I am trying to get my food in with my weight gainer, food I eat at my gf's sorority house, and dinner over at my gf's mom's house lol. So, I'm being a big mooch right now, but I'm doing ok on cals.

Nicee, I'm doing the same thing pre-workout. I think I've found my hot spot with that dosing, I also do one with breakfast on lifting days.

It's going great so far. I tried a different method of dosing 3 caps and I was going to just stick with 2 but I tried the 2 caps about 2 hours pre-workout and found it to be the best. I might bump it to 4 to try that out even lol.

I know, I'm pretty happy with it so far. I think getting stronger is better than any of the other positives I've seen so far with Formex. I'm going to see if I can keep going up on SLDL today.

I was feeling pretty good during my SLDL, but my form is what is keeping me from calling what I got a PR. I felt pretty good strength wise on most of my lifts, although I felt weaker on Rev close grip than I did last week, but it may have been less rest between sets and the fact that I didn't have a spot to try higher. Good workout overall.

Libido- Lower then expected, but maybe it's cuz it's that time of the month for my girl and I know I can't get any.
Strength- Eh, it was ok, I'll see if it is still on the rise for Chest day.

I felt pretty good strength wise on most of my lifts, although I felt weaker on Rev close grip than I did last week, but it may have been less rest between sets and the fact that I didn't have a spot to try higher. Good workout overall.

Libido- Lower then expected, but maybe it's cuz it's that time of the month for my girl and I know I can't get any.
Strength- Eh, it was ok, I'll see if it is still on the rise for Chest day.
Body Composition- I feel bigger in the chest area definitely.
Vascularity- I had good vascularity for an hour or so after my workout last night. edit: again
Pump- lower back pump
Mood- Good!
Recovery- Tri's are sore, but we will see with chest tomorrow.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- none.

*Notes- My diet has been ok, but I am broke and don't have much food at the house. Waiting for my mom to send me some $$ so I can stock the fridge. On another note, I got a job, so hopefully I will have the dough to eat like I should be. Diet is at least at maintenance though.

There has been a few times where I have doubted my form for my final max out number, so I've called my husband over to watch me do it one more time. He's good at being honest with me and having him as my audience really pushes me to do my best. :)

started dosing on sunday @ 2 caps

1 in the AM + 1 in the PM- off days
1 in the AM + 1 pre-workout- on days

will bump it to 4 caps total after 15 days

I noticed slight lower back pumps myself i couldn't do my SLDL's yesterday! but my leg pump was amazing! focus was up as well as hunger.

Yeah I didn't have a lifting partner that day to keep an eye on my form and it doesn't feel right calling it a PR if it was bad form. And I thought the backround was cool for a little bit, but it is kind of rough on the eyes

- I took another off day today. I was playing basketball early on in the day and all of a sudden my left arm started to ache, like I had gotten a tetnis (sp?) shot. Anyway, this detered me from working out yesterday. I have also been really busy lately in my classes, but I am going to make sure I squeeze in my Chest/Bi's today, even if it has to be a quicker workout (might go DC for time purposes).

Libido- Actually up a little bit yesterday.
Strength- n/a
Body Composition- A little flat yesterday, could have been diet
Vascularity- Not that great
Pump- n/a. no carb pump or anything
Mood- Good!
Recovery- I was pretty sore yesterday and body was kind of tired.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- a little acne here and there, but nothing not normal

*Diet- I didn't eat much during the day yesterday because I was so busy, but later on at night I got a surplus of not so healthy calories, but the healthy or 'lean' isn't really my worry, just getting in more calories is what I'm going for...

Chest/Bi's/Abs

BB Flat Bench (DC)
135 x 6, 155 x 5, 185 x 5 Warm-up
225 x 8/3/2 (A little finger tip help on the last rep of the last two sets) - PR (8 reps @ 225)-
Fascial stretch- DB flye hold, 60's for 60 seconds

BB Curls (straight bar) (DC)
bar(45) x 5, 55 x 5, 65 x 4 Warm-up
75 x 13/6/2
Fascial Stretch- Hands behind back on bench bar x 45 seconds

High Cable Flies (Was going to do FST-7, but didn't want 7 sets so I did same style, but 4 x 15)
15reps x 30/40/50/50

Cable Rope Curls (same as high cable flies, 30s between sets, 4x15)
15reps x 30/40/50/60

Ab Work (~ 10 min. worth)

*Notes- Well, I didn't actually FEEL as strong as I have been feeling, but I still managed to bang out 8 reps with 225 and set a PR, even though I think I could have gotten it last week when I benched. I also think I need to stop doing BB flat bench for a few weeks or else I am going to plateau. I also busted out a lot of reps on BB curl, so I guess I should have gone higher weight for sure. Overall I felt really good about my workout. I got 13 reps at 225 in a little over 1 minute, so that's pretty good.


Libido- Was probably normal yesterday, but it seemed pretty high this morning when I woke up.
Strength- Good by numbers. I still felt STRONG, just not as strong as I had been feeling.
Body Composition- I feel wider all together. My lifting partner yesterday commented on my arms and shoulders being bigger which is good. I think overall, my bi's, shoulders, and chest have made the most improvements. I would like to see improvements in my legs and middle back.
Vascularity- It wasn't that great
Pump- decent pump after the 4 x 15 lifts
Mood- Good yesterday, but poor today, due to lack of sleep and having to do a power point.
Recovery- Well my tris were still a little sore yesterday, but I was able to go heavy and hard on bench, so I think they recovered. My body also feels pretty good today for practically no sleep last night. *Fingers crossed* for no DOMS.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- none really.

1 cap 12:00 pm and 1 cap pre-wo around 8:00 pm


*Notes- My diet was pretty good yesterday calorie wise (as in I took in a good amount of cals) and I was able to bring home a good amount of pasta from gf's sorority house after their dinner last night, so I should be stocked on it for a couple of days.
