Ill start by saying that I'm pretty new to lifting/stims/etc. I'm 23, lifted in highschool for football and such, but havent done much in years. I'm probably just above a novice level when it comes to stims, I've tried quite a few, but not enough to say im experienced I suppose. Im currently 5'11''-6' and 178lbs and running the 10/10 transformation diet/routine. For those who are unfamiliar is basically 3 week weight loss, 3 week bulk, and repeat for another 6 weeks. Anyway on to the review...
7:00am: Rolled over in bed and popped my first pill with my alarm. Usually I can snooze or a good while, but after 15ish min I was no longer able to fall into that groggy half sleep, and was awake. Took my NO2 Black and CE2, and headed to 8am class.
9:00am: Felt a little more alert in math. Usually I understand what is being taught and then lose interest while it gets re-explained 5x and by the time I come back around I missed the next theory and am behind. But today I followed the whole class and fully understood everything, was a nice change. Walking back from class I felt….well to be honest normal. Not an every day normal though, one of those, “I have slightly more energy than usual, it’s a good morning” day.
Unfortunately I need more energy than that today! I have a difficult workout planned as well as a few hours of work, and at least 6 hours of homework. So I took another pill upon my arrival back to my dorm, making 2 total caps for today.
9:25am Finally getting around to eating, felt mildly hungry this morning, but less than usually maybe. I had 3 egg whites, and I have to say, after the first 2 bites It became more of a task to eat than a privilege. My body just didn’t want it. But choked it down none the less and all is well. In a slightly good mood but that could be due to the fact I was watching some quality StarCraft tournaments…..what a great way to start the day.
11:00am :burnout: Getting ready to walk to the gym. Effects are really coming around now, and I feel the need to expand on this time-frame the most. So I will be including a rating of Mood and Energy below. On a general note though, I felt amazing walking to the gym. My energy was up, and I felt happy, which in and of itself deserves special notation of which I will expound upon below. I also wanted to test the waters with this supplement so I had half a cup of coffee on the way to the gym.
Mood (9/10): Now this is a considerable score in and of itself. But I think it is important here that I point out that I am mildly depressed (no meds). And for me to walk down the street almost wanting to smile and feeling like talking to people, just anybody, is quite an achievement. I’m sure this could be even more prevalent in people who have normal mood behavior. **In no way am I suggesting this for treatment of any kind of depression, mild or otherwise. Just an interesting thing to note**
Energy (8/10): Was definitely full of energy. But this was not a normal stim sensation. It almost felt like I wasn’t on stims at all, but just felt focused and had some energy to boot. Because I’m pretty aware of my body however, I could tell im slightly stimmed. This is not including the coffee. After the consumption of ½ cup of coffee, my energy was at a 9 or above, less clean feeling, but that slightly insane crack feeling is what I wanted for my workout.
Workout: Good workout. Probably as good as 3 scooping Jack3d, with the addition of the coffee. But conversely it was on a different level. In normally listen to heavier/faster music when I lift, but today I felt like listening to U2 radio (on Pandora) because that’s just what kinda mood I was in (nogay)! And honestly my workout was just as intense and focused, but had a much happier lighter feel to it….an odd experience to say the least.
Two interesting things to note. Increased sweating: I do a half mile warmup run and after my 5 min run I was already raining sweat. And this continued throughout the workout. So I’m very happy with the themogenics. The other note was I felt (and was) semi dehydrated during my workout. This is likely partially due to the ½ coffee consumed pre workout though, in addition to the increased sweating. Which again was likely compounded by the Raspberry Ketone in my CE2 Hi-Def.
12:30pm Coming out of the gym I was dead tired, but still had energy (paradoxical I know). Its hard to judge the mood at this time as when I leave the gym Im always in some weird tunnel vision funk where its all I can do to remember to breath and keep walking. Perhaps still a slight mood lift, but this is likely diminsed by my lack of energy and coffee tainting the cleanness of SX.
1:30pm Back in the dorm, and I feel great still. Usually dying to eat my only carbs of the day, my post workout 1/3 cup of raisins, but I honestly had to keep reminding myself to eat them while I was writing this. Which was actually a problem because I barely consumed them and my postWO protein during the window.
As of now the dirty coffee feeling is just starting to wear off and hopefully I float back into that amazing mood I had preworkout for the rest of the day. Still early to judge appetite but Ive only had 3 egg whites, 1/3c of raisins and ~40g protein so far today and im not even remotely hungry. Will continue my log as the day progresses. Hopefully any of you who took the time to read the post in its entirety found it useful and informative.
There is also a more detailed mini log by a more experienced user VolcomX311 (would link if I could) on these forums. Hopefully some people who are less stim experienced, or new to AM or working out in general will find this post relatable.
