there's a lot to be said for being under stress. When the formestane finally kicks in, you're libido and gym motivation are going to be top notch again.

I had a better workout today actually. Not great, but better than it has been. Thanks for the reassurance though!

- Ok, I decided to scrap the DC training. I am just going to switch up my sets and reps every week, but I am going to keep the same split. For example, yesterday I did 9 sets of 3 for my main lifts for each body part. Next week I'll do a 4x8 or a 4x5,4,3,2 or something of that nature, just depends on if I want to do higher or lower rep.

Flat BB Bench (9x3)-

*Notes- My workout was a lot better than it has been lately. It wasn't great, but it was good. I switched it up and went with 9 sets of 3 which was a little different, but it seemed like a good change of pace.

Libido- About the same yesterday, but it feels pretty high this morning. Morning wood FTW.
Strength- Seemed like its at least getting back to normal. So, good in my view.
Body Composition- About the same.
Vascularity- It was decent. A little better than it has been.
Pump- Noticed a good pump in the gym.
Mood- Yesterday it was better, but not good. This morning I am in a pretty good mood though.
Recovery- Well, I'm not THAT sore today. We will see if any DOMS kicks in, but I don't think it will.
Side-effects (acne, aggression)- My face is looking pretty good actually.
Aggression- Hmm, well I wasn't as mad as I had been the past couple of days, but my sense of well being seems to be improving.

9:30- 1 cup of cottage cheese
1:00- 1 whole Italian Sausage + 3 stuffed shells (ricotta cheese, eggs, mozzarella, parmesan stuffed into pasta shells)
3:30- 1/2 lb of semi-frozen blackberries
4:00- 1/2 Homemade Weight Gainer sipped on until workout (2 cups 2% milk, 2 tbsp pb, 2 tbsp canola oil, 1/2 cup oats, 2 scoops of protein
5:35- 5 fish oils
6:15- 2 caps Formex (50mg)
7:00- 9 piece chicken fries (BK)
7:45- Workout
9:00- 2 cups of orange soda + 1/2 of the homemade weight gainer
10:25- Original Chicken Sandwich (BK)
11:00- 3-4 beers


*Notes- Diet could have been better again and I think I need to start getting in more calories. I have just been so busy trying to get my car in and out of the shop that I haven't had the most amount of time to eat during the day. I will try to up my cals.

Do some searches on this board and others. Formestane/epithio have been stacked many times. From what I saw, TheBigT was one of the first ones to try it and he has a thread here on AM. But, you have to decide how your body responds to epithios and how your body responds to the AI that you choose to stack with.

My personal first priority would be to see how my joints respond both to epithio and formestane. For me personally, neither bother my joints so I'd be in the clear. There's about a 50/50 split of those that have no problems with that stack and those that end up with joint irritation.
 
I break my Hams and Quads into separate workouts, so one of them is always sore...Splitting them into different workouts really allows you to focus on growth/hypertrophy in a single workout. I much prefer it to an entire Leg day.

So do you have two leg sessions a week? Or quads one week, hams the next?
 
UPDATE: I've been really thirsty this morning. I have had like 4 glasses of water in the past 20 minutes. I did eat some fast food last night (sodium) and did drink a few beers, so that could be it, but I'm not quite sure

Edit: I'll keep an eye on my thirst level.

I also split my hams and quads into 2 seperate workouts. But, my legs always looked pretty solid and seem to respond to whatever I decide to do... so maybe my advice isn't worth all that much if you're trying to bring yours up.

I drink about 1.25-1.5 gallons of water per day, especially when I'm taking an AI. Formestane is a pretty potent AI (relative to the other ones that are otc). Let your water get too low, and you could probably end up with headaches. Although I've never had that happen with form, it has happened when I skimped on water with other AIs.

Solid advice, Cel. I agree, and yes, I know this to be fact through use of AI's and inadequate water intake.. I learned my lesson, though.

Thanks for the heads up on the water. I think I'm drinking enough, I just felt unusually thirsty this morning, but my thirst seems to have settled down since then.

Libido- Definitely increased. Through last night and today. I picked my ex up from her friends at 2 in the morning after she got back from spring break and I'll just say that we had fun last night and all day today.

Body Composition- My muscles look a little fuller.
Vascularity- Was good later last night.
Pump- n/a
Mood- My mood is good.
Recovery- Still not very sore from the other days chest session

5:30- 1 cap Formex (25 mg)
6:00- 2 Turkey burgers w/ 2 slices pepperjack
9:30- Homemade Protein Shake (2 scoops protein, 6 tbsp liquid egg whites, 2 tbsp PB, 2 tbsp canola oil)
12:30- 1 cap Formex (25 mg) (2 hrs before I picked up my ex ;))

*Notes- Diet wasn't too bad, considering I had a three hour drive home where I only had a protein shake. Also, I don't have any food back at school and desperately need to go grocery shopping
 
UPDATE: My libido is out of control. I have spent the whole day with my ex and can't stop popping wood. I'm not gonna dose my Formex until before I go to bed, because I don't need any more of a libido boost today. I also had to take today as an OFF day, because they haven't reopened the school gym from Spring Break yet, so I will hit back and tri's hard tomorrow.

I dosed my two Formex before bed at around 12:00 am. My sleep last night was bad, but I think it was due to loud ass drunk mother fuc*ers that wouldn't shut up, and not the Formex.

Yeah, I hope that side effect continues, because there isn't much semester left and I've been slacking. I'll update tomorrow when I get my calc 2 test back :D

Our spring break is the latest it can possibly be I think. And then we get another two days off in two weeks for easter.
 
Dude calc 2 is a beast, I barely made it out of that class alive. I didn't need to take I was just interested and I got the same teacher that I had for calc 1. I was just happy to get my B and to never have another class like that one again....

Yeah, I thought I was gonna have to drop the class after I got a 53 on my first test, but I didn't have the book at that time either cause I was too poor to buy it. But the last test I took I thought I aced, and if I don't come out with at least an A, if not 100%, i'll be very disappointed. Anyway, after calc 2 i'm done with math, which I am indifferent about cause I like it.

It had to be more than 15 pages and you had to do all this other bs work. I also started late as usual, luckily my teacher graded real easy and I got by w/ a B. And then the next semester they dropped that class from my major requirements, figures...

- I decided to take IrishCannon's advice and split up my leg days. I decided to put hams with my back day because I like to do SLDL's for my back and they really work my hams also.

Back/Tri's/Hams

SLDL (9x3)

Note- I get a really intense stretch in the right side of my back when I get to the heavy range on lifts where I hold the weight below my waist, such as SLDL, One Arm Bent over rows, etc. I realized that if I keep my head down instead or looking up into the mirror it hurts less. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on this.

Lat Pulldowns/WG Pull-ups (sets 5-9)
3 x 70/90/110/130/BW/BW/+25/+35/+45

Weighted Dips/Close Grip Bench (sets 6-9)

- I switched from weighted dips to close grip bench, because loading the plates onto the weight belt for the dips got tedious and was taking up too much time, especially with a lifting partner.

High Grip Seated Row (Hammer Strength)

Rope Pressdown
100 x 25 -15s RP- x 10

*Notes- Pretty good workout, but it lasted entirely too long doing the 9 sets of 3. I didn't get too do much hams, because my workout was pushing 2 hrs which is WAY too long. Anyway, next rotation i'll be switching up my sets and reps, so my workouts won't take as long.

Libido- Down a little more than before, but still very high.
Strength- I'm feeling pretty good and my strength is looking good.
Body Composition- Not many changes yet.

7:00- Intra-workout drink (2 tbsp BCAA's, 4 tbsp egg whites)
9:00- Protein Shake (3 scoops of Protein) + 1 scoop gatorade mix
11:15- Two pieces wheat toast +two packets of jelly
11:45- 2 caps Formex (50 mg)
12:30- Small Plate of Vegetarian Lasagna


*Notes- I'm probably at maintenance right now with my diet. I really need to start getting more calories. Good thing I went shopping today. I also should have some more protein on the way, so I can drink more shakes throughout the day to get my cals in.

Haha, yeah that's how I felt. Although the school gym was closed because we were coming off of spring break week, I could still get my exercise in right in the comfort of my own room :D
 
UPDATE: I finally checked my weight today, and I seem to be up 2 lbs from where I THINK I started the log at. Keep in mind I said THINK. I definitely feel my strength going up as I beat out last weeks bench today. I guess I will post up a week 1 update tomorrow instead of giving a boring update of my OFF day yesterday. Anyway, I just finished off half a pizza as my first post workout meal and I need to eat again... I'm thinking maybe pancakes for some odd reason.

Man, I need all the help I can get trying to gain weight. I've still got a pretty fast metabolism. But if it counts for anything, the pizza was garlic chicken from a restaurant emulating foods from San-Fran, so it couldn't have been too bad. And I never ended up eating any pancakes, but if I did, they would have been protein pancakes ;)

Make all shakes that you drink with milk and 50g protein. This will help for sure ;)

9:30- 1/2 of a 14" Garlic Chicken Pizza
10:30- 2 cups of 2% Milk + 3 fishoils + 1 cap Formex (25mg)


*Notes- Diet has been ok. I just got a weight gainer in, so hopefully taking a shake between meals will help me pack on some more weight. Gotta go eat! peace

Libido- Over the course of a week, my libido has been pretty sky high. I don't think it could get any higher than what it was like 5 days ago.

Strength- My strength seems to be going up. I have been doing lower reps as of late, which is not the norm, so it could be natural progression, but I feel like I am progressing faster than I would normally.

Body Composition- I'm looking a little leaner lately, near the tops of my biceps and the tops of the front of my shoulders most notably. We'll see if this continues.

Vascularity- My vascularity hasn't really changed. The only changes are day to day and really depend on my diet.

Pump- My pumps have been normal for the low rep workouts I have been doing lately.

Mood- My mood was elevated for most of the week, but I was pretty grumpy yesterday, may have been the weather.

Recovery- My recovery isn't as good as I would have predicted. I haven't noticed many changes in my ability to recover. We will see if this changes at all when my sets and reps change week to week.

Side-effects (acne, aggression)- None to note really, although yesterday I had the urge to pound on people that pissed me off. Also, dosing Formex at night might be affecting my sleep in a bad way, so I will toy with that and see if I can pinpoint the cause.

Overall: Overall, my experience with Formex has been good thus far. I'd have to say that I am most impressed with the strength gains so far and we will see if they continue.
