I know there will be a SoCal ABC at Gold's Venice sometime late april. I'll post details once we work it out. If you haven't hit it before, this would be a great excuse.

And we are planning a MuscleBeach workout and BBQ for June.

Update: Golds Venice is gonna be on May 2nd. Probably at 11am. Estimating 10 ppl so far. Might be more.

Also, we are having a smaller get together this weekend (28th) in San Diego at World Gym with Derik The Freak Farnsworth. Yes, the man who squated 405 for 25 in The Cage at the Arnold barely edging out Rage. Barely. And Rage will take him next year. ;)

So if you are in SoCal and want to see some amazing stuff you should come over. Lifting starts at 10am.

Not only is Derek just a SOLID IFBB... he is a genuinely NICE guy. just like all of our Pro's.

He's a great guy. We spent a good 15 min chatting over the course of the morning. Which was his leg day so I felt quite humbled that he'd break out some time to just talk.

We've got some pics up in the SoCal Forvm thread but my post count isn't quite high enough to post them here yet.

Speaking of - The Freak mentioned the Aug 22 event at World Gym. I know Universal had a nice booth there last year. The SoCal ABC group is going to be there in force. You guys making it in?

Trying to get this ABC up and running, not sure why no one has joined. I printed about 200 flyers, place around every Ft. Campbell Gym, but no one has signed up, even though most of the flyers are gone. If your having troubles PM me for direct links and other guidance.

He is truly one of the best examples of everything - a friend, a competitor, a sportsman and a human being. We'd all be better off with more people like him.

Rage has had him on an excellent diet and workout plan since fall. He's dropped something like 50 lbs. Crazy for someone about to turn 55 who has a titanium spine thingie.
