Summer Suggestion

Hey D,
My girlfriend wanted me to make the suggestion that you make a version of bobu butter that has a spf rating for summer time. She works outside and loves your product but prefers a lotion that has sunblock in it. Just thought I would add to your list of a million other requests :pat:

My wallet is itching for some Alpha-Y!

Interesting idea..let me look into it.

BTW, I owe you a jar of non-shimmer...pm your address when you get a chance.

No worries on the bobu, I just gave it to her. I just wanted to make you aware of the situation. Your the mad scientist but maybe use Titanium Di-Oxide and Zinc Oxide. I also know that rice bran oil has gamma oryzanol, which absorbs UVA & UVB. Just some ideas.... Thanks for looking into it!

I already sent inquiries for the Titanium and Zinc, and figured out how much is necessary for each SPF rating. I'm wondering if their inclusion might throw off texture, somewhat.

Should have price soon.

what if they are nano sized by Chemical Vapour Deposition? I think emu oil offers a spf of about 8.

That would allow me to reduce the content of the metallic oxides, and retain more of the skin conditioning properties of the product.

Let me look into justified claims...last thing I need is FDA problems.

Seems like that would reduce effectiveness since more of it would absorb into the skin instead of remaining on top to absorb UV.

I have decided to use the product to gain a foothold along with Atomic Meltdown into the tanning industry.

Definitely thinking about keeping this permanent.

I just looked into expanding into a factory space, which will allow me to bring a lot more products under my own control. It's going to be expensive, but we have news on something that will make it all worth it shortly.

Sounds awesome. Definitely looking forward to trying it out.

Can you check your email when you get a chance Matt? I had a few questions for you.
