he has a right to fight fedor imo. its just to bad that idiot arlovski f'd his game plan up. he was winning and i dont care what anyone says in the first round until he did his gay ass flying knee. he had a solid game plan and i believe it would have worked.
How does Randy have the right to fight the #1 HW in the world? I love Randy, but in regard to deservingness, Randy has no claims. And whether or not Arlovski was winning really has no bearing on the fact he did lose; to say he would have won is speculation!
maybe if theyd feed him real competition other than arlovski id agree with your statement saying hes #1 in the world.

im not offended. its fedor. he isnt #1 in my book. not until he gets a mir fight lesnar fight or couture fight. hell maybe even carwin. hes been fighting these hand jobs because they know he can beat them. arlovski was the ONLY real fighter to fight him. and he effed it up. he knew he could beat him he never stuck to the game. ill say it again. give fedor some real fights and not only once a year and dont stick him with some piece of **** fighter. put him up against a name and lets see what happens. and when i say **** im talking about silvia. flat footed fat sob. yes he beat arlovski but he couldnt beat arlovski out of a wet paper bag right now.
As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, it is a bit unfounded: Randy has four losses in his last ten fights, including a loss to Brock, whom had three previous fights; conversely, Lesnar has a mere four fights, with one loss to an admittedly resurgent Mir who is, also admittedly, nowhere near the upper echelon of the HW division [...beating a slow and tired Nog, a green Lesnar and Hardonk does not a contender make...]; and, finally, saying Carwin has a legitimate claim to ascendancy is equally as presumptive!
I empathize with your argument in regard to the quality of Fedor's opponents, but your argument could not fight its way out of a paper bag at this point; if only by proxy, Fedor is still the #1 HW in the world.
I do think hes #1 but I am tired of seeing his competition even tho AA looked damn good to start it off. if he didnt throw that flying knee I am going to guess anyways he would of lost in another way. I would love to see him fight mir or lesner. I think he would destroy randy and carwin. carwin got popped by gonzaga.
Brock had only 2 fights before Randy. He has a total of 3. And green as he is he still beat Heath during his second UFC fight who may not be the greatest but Heath did go the distance with Check. I know people are different when fighting different people and in different shape but unfortunately these are our UFC HWs. Mir and Randy both have a long list of fights mostly good with the bad included and both also have their short comings. Randy's age and Mir's motorcycle accident. But these guys aren't total pussies either. Randy did come back to fight Brock after taking over a year off. That can't be helpful.
I do agree also that Fedor has had some sloppy opponents lately. Tim Sylvia, Matt Lindland and Mark Coleman are not exactly the cream of the crop.
Brock had three fights: Min Soo Kim, Mir and Herring. Min Soo Kim was and remains a can; Mir was out-of-shape at the time; though Herring is an admittedly good fighter. Out of the fighters Ben mentioned, Brock Lesnar's claim to a so-called "unification bout" [...if it were to happen...] would be the strongest.
The point is this: despite Fedor's most recent opponents - or lack thereof, haha - he is still the #1 HW in the world, bar none. The arguments against Fedor are convincing; the arguments against Mir, Brock, Carwin and the like are more convincing.
I just don't buy Fedor having anything to prove. Even if he isn't quite where he used to be (which i don't neccesarily agree with) he still beat the best of the best when THEY were in their prime. Fedor doesn't claim to be the best-thousands of others do that for him. And as awesome as it would be to see him in the UFC for exposure if nothing else, I'm sure he is okay being treated as a God and making millions of dollars where he's at.
Anyone know if thats what Crocop's plan is too? Or was he coming back?
crop cop cant handle the octogon he needs to stay in the ring. AA got 1.5 mil for losing to fedor......DAMN!!!!! big bucks in MMA
F**K Sake! What does say Gsp get for winning?
Well, you gotta get paid a sh!t ton of money just to step in a ring with fedor, cause that takes some balls!
But seriously, AA probably got that much because he is one of the few respected HW not restricted by UFC anymore that would be worth putting on a ring with Fedor.
GSP is still under all UFC contracts and probably gets a ton of money from other sources aside from fights, just to sponsor the UFC name.
