So Id like to delay my carb up by a couple days. The only problem is my workouts after day 5 completely suck. I have no energy and my muscles feel like theyre on fire with every set. Anyone have any suggestions? Supps, Ect

Mini carb up at the mid point between your carb up. If you carb up every 10 days, 100-150 grams of carbohydrates after your workout on the fifth day. High dextrose content.

Stick w/ some low intensity cardio and don't train.

That's wrong. He needs to and should train. That will prevent muscle loss, even though he is on a keto diet, training is necessary to minimize muscle loss. And of course to preserve strength.

The carb up every 10 days is a good idea, but you might want to shoot for a real carb up >> 13-15 grams of carbs per 1 lb. Do this for 1 - 1.5 days and you should reach a glucose supercompensation of 100 - 175%. This will allow you to train hard the following couple days until you deplete glycogen again. Also, this will slow down the fat loss, but then again what is your ultimate goal?

I've managed to carb up every 6 six days and can lose about 2lbs a week that way. I just do some serious HIIT the day after my carb up.
Just depends if you are concerned about rapid weight loss.

I do something similar. The HITT will get you into ketosis faster, but doing 60 min of medium paste cardio does pretty much the same thing, although you don't burn that much post training. However, some ppl might prefer that over HIIT, since that can be physically demanding.
