ok so i decided not to use the flawless today see as the rash is there, and not getting any better really, i went back to the aquaphor and i think im going to see a dermatologist tomorrrow just need an appt,

the rash is only within 3-5 inches of the new ink, and it started about monday. maybe i coulda been reacting to the shimmer in the bobu?

im at a loss right now, i just want this rash thing gone,

on another note, tatt is almost all healed a few more scabs, probably by monday should be all healed at the rate its going.

Ok guys I'm at the dermatologist. Rash no better. I do see dome fading in some ink but only in one spot. The tigers foot on my bicep. Not sure y it faded. But the black ink outlin is signifigantly lighter. Ill keep yall posted

dermatoligist said its folliculitis (bacterial) and she took a culture to test it for staph

this is really really upsetting ive never hard this issue with any other ink at all. it looks disgusting, i wont even wear short sleeves

She put me on dynacin (monocycline) and Eviclin (topical cream)gel which im not putting on my tatt. she wanted me to get another kinda of soap to wash with but im afraid it will kill the color as there is some fading on the foot near my bicep.

I get this from waxing and any kind of depilatory.

Are you pretty hairy normally??

yea i had buzzed my arms like 2 days before i got the tatt and he shaved me as well,

theres only one part of the tatt that looks like its fading, but it may just look like that because theres new in around it, and if theres a problem he will fix it (hopefully no charge, well actually BETTER be no charge)

anyway everything else healed pretty well though.

i stopped the flawless 2 days ago becuase it was really the only thing i had changed, and the DErmatoligist said nothing in it looks like it would have caused any fading or folliculitis (except the oil clogging the pores)

None of the oils are pore clogging.

Last time I got waxed it was actually the flawless that healed it up quicker. Sounds like the buzz, then shave, might be the culprit.

I feel for you, man...miserable experience that looks like mass acne. I ended up training covered up for weeks.

No worries...I know something like this can cause you to panic, and look around for ANYTHING different you have done.

I am looking at your face and body hair and, like mine, it appears to be quite coarse. Sucks for us, as unusually close shaves often result in folliculitis.

If you are still game you can safely add the flawless back in.

yea dude im still good for it ill add it back in tomorrow,

i think ill apply the flawless what 3x a day? because 2x a day it dried a little fast when i put clothing on.

what do you think the fading can be from?

can you snag a good picture of the fading?

Are you still using the other moisurizer, too? Are you rubbing too vigorously?

yea i can try to snag a pic of the fading,

im not using another moisurizer except aquaphore (which i used on the rest of the tatt when it was done)

maybe i should wait till the aquaphor rubs off so its not all shiny in the pic. and its easier to see.

Yeah...the shine obscures things a bit.

Maybe Christine and I will take you out for Coffee at the Arnold so we can see the tat in sunlight.

/I usually need a break after 3 hours at the Expo.

Sweet!

I'm essentially stoked to hear that.

We'll have some goodies to share, too....ArmDefine is almost finished, some renegade Balm, and maybe a few Strange shots. :)

awesome

i was reading a little about armdefine, i was wondering if it possibly has the same effect on othe body parts like the stomach, i know you said you used it on christines back and shoulders.

tattoo safe? the reason i ask is because when the derm was telling me about the soaps and creams she gave me, she said she has NO idea how they effect the tatt (so im not putting it on my tatt) and they dont test for how it reacts with ink. so i always gotta ask yanno

i wont even pin my delts im afraid of putting anything in my tatts

It burns a bit, but we have been using it in abs as well (with great success).

The main reason I am calling it ArmDefine is because it DOES work well on armfat - but mostly because topicals mainly for abs is pretty market dense already.

They are tattoo safe - just not on Brand New Ink.

yea the market has some topical stuff for the abs,

my personal favorite (out of the 2 i tried) was ABsolution Plus really thined my skin and took some water out and fat.... and the only other one i had tried was AB FX (which really just made my skin red and didnt do much)

Napalm has been my favorite, thus far.

I started up flawless againm today. Such a good feeling not to greasy went on nice. Not so much burn. Feels good to be putting it back on. Rash is signifigantly better

It turned out ****ing awesome however the culture I got came back saying it was staph. The colors are MINT soo ****ing clear. No fading no problems just bright awesome tattooness!! I didn't end up posting the pix after it was healed but I saw matt and christine at the arnold. Ill see if I can get the healed staph free pix up later tonight. But I would definetly reccommend this. I also just started it again on my stretch mark where my shoulder n chest connect and in 2 days its a little better. Not as purple. I highly recommend to anyone with stretch marks as weelll

good stuff, i think i might pick this up and use it on my tattoo's to see if will really make them stand out. I don't have any color on me though.

mine are all healed up. Some i've had for 7 years. I was wondering if flawless would make the older tattoo's look more like the newer tattoos.
