a fasted cardio cocktail (pslin content)

so a lot of people have seen good results using anabolic pump during fasted cardio and/or fasted lifting. and we all know that pslin is a little more potent than anabolic pump.

what i am proposing is using pslin for fasted cardio, dosed @ 200-400mg. alongside this would be xtend, ALCAR, green tea, geranamine, and coleus forskoli.

then, post cardio, another 200-400mg pslin along a CHO rich breakfast. or just a morning mass monster shake, hold the WMS.

if anybody has experience using pslin before fasted cardio/lifting:

how did you like it?
how much did you dose?
what else did you use it with?
what kind of results did you see?

Hay man I'm interested in this but could some one post up in simple English what ap/pslin do before fasted cardio? And I'm on keto so I'm not takin in carbs at all right now will it still help me?

I had thought I heard Mullet mention that Pslin is not a good idea for fasted cardio... AP yes Pslin no

no need to bump - I asked this question to mullet some time ago as I had an abundance of PSlin but no AP.

The simple answer is no, it is not a good idea.

Stick with AP-ReCreate-PowerFull-Jacked on a fasted workout - I am, and the fat is dropping, strength is gaining in small increments.

I'm also taking 1/2 serve of Jacked with 30g of BCAA intra-WO which is assisting with endurance and keeping my metabolism cranked for the remainder of the day.

Yes, I am a USP whore . . :bandit:

nice cocktail my friend!!! i love USP!!!!

It could be done IMO if you have bulk pslin or open the caps and don't take a whole pill. The only real concern is going hypo too much which you can avoid if you don't take too much of it.

right. thats why im thinking half the dose would be a good starting point to test it out. its not potent like the full dose, but at the same time would probably be more potent than a cap of AP.

i think im just going to give it a shot at 200mg, and bring a WMS+xtend drink just in case i get too hypo. then, no harm done. and im not talking fasted HIIT here. just 50-60% max hr on the stationary bike.

Sounds like a pretty good plan.

Curious why people use a glucose shuttling agent during AM fasted cardio? I was under the impression that the majority of your liver glycogen is already utilized by the time you wake up...hence the idea of a fasting blood test to check for fasting glucose. Just curious where the idea came from?

Berberine is a very potent AMPk-agonist, even moreso than AICAR. In conjunction with a fasted-state training, AP upregulates, among other things, CPT-1, promoting b-oxidation of FAs as the primary oxidative energy response. Essentially, through an overnight fast and immediate AMPk phosphorylation, my theory is that your body is forced to switch from glucose to fatty acids/triglycerides for oxidative metabolism. I have a much more detailed set of responses on here, in respects to AMPk-regulated lipogenic target-gene regulation [PPARa/y], and somewhere I speak about why this approach is viable in its application to TypeIIa/x fibers, due to fat metabolic gene regulation as well.

how about pslin? id love to hear your thought on it. and im talking bulk pslin, not the caps.

P-Slin in terms of fasted-training, roland?
si senor. im thinking of trying 200mg mixed with xtend, maybe a scoop of jacked, possibly alcar.

and like i said, nothing crazy. just some light to moderate cardio. the first 8 weeks of my recomp will be maintenance calories, but fasted cardio 3 times per week. so i want to maximize those 3 sessions.

ive still got a full bottle of AP that ive been saving for this exact reason, but im just curious if pslin might be more effective since it seems its more potent than AP.

roland-a-joint. rollin a joint. get it? :lmao:

I get it, rol!

I would suggest against it! P-Slin and AP increase glycogenesis [glycogen synthesis] through different mechanisms. It is the mechanism through which AP increases glycogenesis that makes it valuable for FT; and, in the same light, P-Slin's mechanism which makes it unattractive for FT.

awesome. exact response i was looking for. looks like my bottle of AP will finally get used.

thanks dood.

lol -I knew there was a reason, I just couldnt quite articulate it! :bandit:
