I am currently taking Cell Mass as my creatine. I am taking creatine just for mass im not worried about water weight or some fat. I only have 6% bf so im not worried about gaining bad weight also. I was wondering is cell mass a good creatine for size or should I just switch to a cheap creatine monohydrate?

cell mass is creatine combined with a bunch of stuff designed to help transport it into your muscles.
you could probably experience similar results by consuming straight creatine with a meal.

if u don't mind paying the money for it then keep it. if you want a cheap alternative that works just as good get something cheaper. creatine is creatine basically. i prefer creatine in pill form cause i have enough powders and junk to mix, though creatine mono can be thrown into just about anything

First off, Cell Mass is not the best choice of creatine because is does not contain the CEM3 that they claim. This is the reason why BSN is facing many lawsuits.

Then again, recent articles say that there is no CEM3 but it is just plain creatine mono. So again it is for you to decide after reading the information available, but in my opinion there are more products out there that are more effective and not going through lawsuits, for now containing what they say. You minght want to look into Size-on by Gaspari, or Green Magnitude by controlled labs, I've used both products and was happy with the results.

Secondly, No matter how much companies say that their creatine does not cause water weight, just the method in which creatine works, water weight is added. So it now how to stop water weight from happening but how to get rid of it as it come. I would recommend adding on cardio twice a week at least, to help cut the water weight. Furthermore, if you are looking to bulk, the added cardio is only going to hinder your weight gain, so I would strongly recommend upping the calories, to compensate for the calories your burned. Again these calories need to be good calories, if you are looking for a minimal fat bulk.

Hope this helps

Personally, I wouldn't waste money on Cell Mass. There is really no need for it............. if you are looking for size just look into a decent creatine mono like Creapure and take 5 grams a day. No need for any creatine other than mono, and the cee found in cell mass actually converts into creatinine faster, once exposed to stomach acid.

I've always taken plain old creatine mono with grape juice and it seems to work just fine; although, I recently read that you can take it with your protein shake and get the same insulin release.

Best of luck!

the only creatine I buy besides mono is neovar.

thanks for all the help guys

No problem Bro.....creatine is a wonderful supplement. If you stick with the Cell Mass, I wouldn't do the "loading phase". In fact, I wouldn't do the loading phase with the cheaper brands either. I've read quite a bit on it and there is really no benefit from loading for the first week. Take the recommended daily dosage and you'll be all set.

The "loading phase" imo is just another way for companies to have you consume more of there product in less time; therefore, making another purchase that much quicker. Again, just my opinion.

Plain old creatine monohydrate with some grape juice, a protien shake or like Hank stated, "a meal".

Good luck!

Drop the CellMass and get yourself some Neovar by Applied Nutriceuticals. You'll save money AND get better gains.

So i exchanged my cellmass today for some sport specific science liquid power gels. I did this before reading my post. So now I have another question is neovar a better product than this one I just bought. I was told that the pills I just purchased will sustain stomach acid and provide more creatine to the system.

You can buy all sorts of different types and brands of creatine Bro. It's like anything else on the market......"mine is better than yours, because......blah, blah, blah".

Again, the main goal is to create an environment for creatine absorption, in which you need an insulin release. Pick your favorite juice to mix plain old creatine mono with or suck down a protein shake. Just my $.02. Spend your money elsewhere.

Regards,

No form of creatine has been proven in published studies to work better than plain old creatine monohydrate powder. Whether you're spending your extra dollar on effervescent, liquid or chewable creatine, the most important consideration is the creatine. And whether you decide to splurge and buy creatine citrate or creatine phosphate remember one thing: the major clinical studies have been performed on plain creatine monohydrate powder. Numerous studies have also shown that creatine powder is easily assimilated by the body. So unless you've got money to burn, stick with creatine monohydrate powder. Products such as effervescent creatine or creatine chewables offer convenience and a novel way to take plain old creatine powder. For real value, there's no better choice than powder. Plain and simple.

if it's liquid and has creatine in it it's useless. creatine cant' stay stable in liquid for that long and it's completely pointless to be taking
