Let's be honest here, no athlete is gonna come out and say I blatantly used this stuff and bite me if you don't like it. If you like A-Rod you take what he said and move on, if you're one of the 100 million haters who wish you had his talent and hate the fact that he makes so much money, you want him hung from the highest tree. I just want him to do his job and hit home runs when it counts. This whole steroid thing has become a big mess.

Rule? How about the law. Steroids have been illegal to use without a prescription since 1990. Baseball may have not had it in there rules but the USA does. so either way he was breaking the law.

So? We are not talking about the law. He is not on trial in a criminal court. He is on "trial" for breaking a rule THAT DID NOT EXIST when he supposedly broke it. If he was in court, he would at least have some semblance of rights. Now he is expected to to answer ridiculous questions and be paraded around while everyone sits on their freaking high horses passing judgement and pointing fingers. And if he doesn't decide to incriminate himself and subject himself to all this he's a bad guy? If anyone should be taking the heat for this, it is the owners and the commissioner. THEY are the ones that failed. It's a freaking joke. People just love to see people fall. It's pathetic. Baseball should have implemented a policy and moved on.

I don't understand how most people don't think professional athletes take steroids. It's their job to be better than the rest of us, if they weren't so good at what they do they wouldn't be paid like they are.
