focus must be up a lot, cause this workout was amazing!

thursday
chest/tri/front&mid delts
bench 190lbs 9/5/3 up one rep - back off 135x13
tricep dips BW + 80lbs 8/5/3 - up two reps - back off BW + 35x13
upright rows (smith) 125lbs 8/4.5/3 - up two reps - back off 75x12
incline bench 145x11 - up 10 lbs, down 3 reps
CG bench 155x8 - up another 10 lbs, down 2 reps
military press 145x9 - got one more rep out of this
revere grip tricep pushdown 110x9 - up 10 lbs, down a rep
cable crossovers 65x9 - up 10 lbs, down 6 reps

i am really happy about todays workout. there's no way this would disappoint me. almost got rep 5 on part 2 of the rest pause for upright rows - that would have been sick - and told me i should have upped the weight, so this was a flawless workout IMO.

if i could get a gym high every workout i would hit the gym 2x per day. man that's a great feeling. and i agree, no drugs can come close to the gym high IMO. not that i've done much of anything either though.

i really dig this training. i've only gotten a gym high from doing deadlifts before, so this is really cool :)

i've noticed with dienedrone products you just have to push yourself, and the strength gains are unreal.

Ludes... now you are showing your age TG... are Quaaludes even around anymore? I wouldn't know, but back in my "experimenting with various substances" days, I never once saw them.

Though I do have to say, there is nothing like killing it at the gym, drinking a huge shake full of muscle building goodness, and lighting up a fatty while reminiscing on the glory of one's last victory in the battle with the iron foe.

cable crunches 150x 8/5/3 back off 100x15 - up 1 rep on "back off" set
pinwheel curls 40x 9/5/3 back off 30x14 - up 1 rep on main - gonna try 45 next week!
decline crunches (weighted) 25 plate x23
forearm curls 30 lbs x 20 , then 30 lbs x 20 reverse grip.
bike - 15 minutes. felt like longer. cardio sucks, though i'm starting to see the occasional hottie at my gym. most of the patrons at 1:30pm are old timers... bleh...

We used to call ludes: disco biscuits, panty-droppers, etc. Those were good times. And yeah, it was the late 70's and all through the 80's. We had to have something to be able to listen to all that crappy music and look at all those awful clothes!!! LMAO

monday - day 9 NOS-FX

total body workout again. good god, i don't think i like these anymore. i'm finding myself so out of breath as of late. i think next week will be my last total body for a bit, since i will be going on cycle. maybe something nasty like:

overhead squats - 95 lbs
clean and press (barbell) - 115 - 20 lbs more than what i kettlebell - normal increase i would think
bench DB - 50's
deads + shrug - 70 lb dumbells
floor wipers - 135 lbs
pull ups - (-25) got all reps this time - up 5 lbs for two sets, down 5 lbs for one set - a wash i'd guess.

any feedback for my workout while i go on cycle would be great. i can't figure out a better split

I like idea #1 much better than #2. I'd hate to have to train back and legs on the same day!!!
#1 is basically what I'm doing now. The classic push/pull system:
Chest, Delts, and Tri's/Back and Bi's/Legs and Calves.

i've done legs/back on the same day, and let me tell you, the superset that is deadlift/ATG squat is the most nightmarish 5 minutes of your life. i've had more fun at my dentist.

my concern obviously is that boosting GH is kind of a waste while cycling, and monday's workout is beginning to drive me insane.

Back when I used to play around at powerlifting, I'd train Deadlifts and Squats on the same day. And then all the assistance work with them.
Horrifying stuff!!! :yikes: :scared:
 
I used to do squats then RDL on my leg day. Really the only times that I was consistently puking up my PWO shake. Strength grew like crazy though.

Haha, she's little - but not mousy. She gets mouthy and voilent when people piss her off like me. You should see her at the movies. God forbid some fool is talking - she'll say **** and throw popcorn at them. And she's not just dong that because she thinks I'll take care of her - she'll get up in the grill on her own if they say something.

I remember the first time I saw her violent side. We were at a club and this kid kept stepping on her foot. Shorter dude - maybe 5'9''... anyway, the third time he stomped on her $600 shoes she pushed him into a table (I'm straight behind her). He turned around and got in her face "what did you do that for?" and she was like "you're stepping on my feet"... So he cocks his head sideways towards the side of her face and says "well you didn't have to push me B*TCH!" Of course I lost it and started choking the dude - threw him on the ground, and started punting him like a football (this was in my 150 pound days too :lol:)...

Anyway, she got MAD AT ME for getting involved... Like she can handle her own sh*t... but then her friends were all like "WTF, I wish my bf would do that - no man should ever get in your face like that" and I guess she appreciated it... But since then she's careful about who she gets in confrontations with because of my temper.

I love both so much that I have to do them on separate days, I just double the volume - best of both worlds... :lol:

1/3 of my leg volume is squats, same for deads on back day.

i keep having to walk around my gym to find the belt. these silly 60 year old wanna be powerlifters come in wearing their "power suits" steal the squat belt and do 1-2 sets of 2 rep bench press. god knows where they end up leaving the belt, but its never near the squat/deadlift area :(

its so lame. they're benching 225 for 2 reps in a POWER SUIT. those add 60-80 lbs on your bench. then they ham it up for 20 minutes, switch power suits in the bench area - yes, changing their tops in public. its so stupid, because one of them is a "national record holder" in bench, but its because nobody else competes in his age/weight bracket. what a frikken joke.

67 age bracket i think, and his record is 257 lbs - the picture is on display at the gym - er.... health club.... i wouldn't mind so much if he just tried maybe 155 lbs without a power suit, so i don't have to see flabby old guys changing... frikken oxygen thieves IMO.

quick question for everyone. i'm looking at nutra's free shipping sale, and wondering what to add to my cycle.

so far:
policosanol
multi vites
celery seed
fish/flax oil
carbs
ATW WPI
x-dreams
hawthorn berries
milk thistle

so my addition i was thinking would either be casein, or an intra drink. i'm creatine non-responsive, so that's a no-go. intra drink i think may be a waste in my case, since pre workout i take 30g protein and 100+ grams of carbs, and post workout even more. does anybody have a great idea for a good addition? i'm stocked up on L-dopa and all those goodies for PCT already :)
 
Going back on the x-dreams, you really like it that much huh? I would add a casien in there, Why not add lg's bc/eaa's and drink them intra? I do, very cheap also.:) I tell you sunny im really looking foward to this tren cycle starting
