Just a quick entry to show how sometimes, you gotta adjust on the fly..
Was out of my MassMaker for PWO shake this morning, so I had to improvise:
1 scoop MRI Quick Gainer (from my MRI kit I picked up in DEC)
1 scoop Mass Tech (yes.. an MT product, freebie from my GNC sourcing, don't use much but have it laying around)
1/2 scoop WMS (15g)
1 scoop Isopure (25g whey isolate)
1 banana
If you add that up, it's almost identical to the macros in 6 scoops Bev MassMaker; I felt pretty good about the concoction actually..

so.. do they make a different formula that packs it on the legs & calves?? :think:
 
I like how companies will add "Hardcore" or "Plus" to a product when it's been reformulated, yet it's usually had something TAKEN OUT of the product.
 
Stallone probably dables a bit with the super supps...coughcough but, you still have to admire the effort and discipline necessary to maintain what he has at his age.

Yep. I had one of the MT diehards come into GNC last week, looking for Leukic HARDCORE; all we had in stock was the regular Leukic. He wouldn't get it, said it just had to be the hardcore version.. Can't tell these boneheads it's the same thing..

Seems kinda dumb to get all tatted up for one movie...

I was in GNC just this past Friday and some guy was buying Cell-Tech HARDCORE and the lady behind the counter actually told him that all Cell-Tech HARDCORE was, was sugar and creatine mono.. and directed him to another product, but he refused and insisted on the Cell-Tech, lol. I was completely shocked to say the least !
 
I don't think that guaruntees they are real. Timberlake is on there, and only the Crucifix is actually his. The rest were temporary for Alpha Dog.
 
Blows me away for sure. I mean, I know him & Jennifer are pretty in tune with each other (and great for them), but.. that's a pretty big thing to do when you've reached that age in life. I am shocked.
 
Some quick research reveals that, from several sources, the one on his R arm is real, it is Jennifer w/ 3 roses. The one on his L is faux. WOW.

Weight was at 190.0 this morning; I had a meal at my mom's yesterday and the weirdest thing: I'm measuring out my 1 cup of rice for that particular meal, and I thought from the start it looked rather large. After I was done cooking and saw it on my plate, I knew it was. So I ate it anyway, and then we checked out the measurements with another cup she had -- and whatdya know, the 'cup' I actually used was actually 1.25 cups. It said 1 cup right on it, but was not.. :confused: never seen such a thing before. So my anal self tripped on that all day. I was already eating about every 2hrs yesterday as it was so I could fit all my meals in (slept in for a change); so I'm feeling rather full & large here this morning. :donut:

So a quick recap of the dietary strategy I've used for gain week..
Essentially what I've done is 5 days of @4000 cals (workout days included a 560cal PWO shake, hi-carb/minimal fat); and on my 1 off day and 1 cardio day, @3450 cals. Carbs were kept relatively low (roughly 150g on the 2 lower cal days, 240g on workout days) while fats were ginormous (roughly 150g, majority coming from coconut oil, but had some heavy whipping cream, olive oil, and natty PB in there as well, along with the fats from eggs/sirloin/protein powders). The whole idea was to do a quick gain and boost some testosterone, fill out a bit for a minute..

Mission accomplished. Time to continue on the cut. :D

And time to smash these wheels right quick.. :run:

Day #39 Legs

A little bit different format today. Hams still howling, so I altered things somewhat.. Called for some different music as well; so, after a steady diet of Metallica, harcore rap, and Rocky music, rolled out some Flaw for this.
(Guess that made it a "Flaw"ed session then eh?) :)
Not really..

Started off runnning some stairs; moved to my garage and did:
5x16 leg extensions
5x10 heal-raised, close-stance ATG squats
5x15 leg curls
5x15 plate-raised calf raises (first 3 toes straight, last 2 toes angled in)

And the legs were toasted.. :sigh:

Dietary strategy: this week becomes a transitional week; I'm actually cutting the high fat consumption 1 day early, keeping the same diet except for that for now (lower carbs, moderate fat, higher protein). BCAA/PWO protocol of before comes back into play again; I bring AP back into play. I'll ease into things thruout the week before I head into my final 4-week plan, where I'll shift the macros once again, higher carbs/lower fat & protein consumption..
 
Snag, are you originally from Indiana? I've never heard anyone in the Midwest say "right quick" but I hear it down here all the time...

I can't remember if you mentioned or not, but are you still utilizing FT on occasion?
Mainly for my cardio day right now, but I'll throw in a FT session here & there when I feel like it; it causes shifts in my dietary consumption/structure too, so I like this, it's like a double-whammy to the system.

Legs were a tad bit hard to flex after the workout this morning..
Pics don't quite show the difference in weight, but I am heavier!

I don't see any less definition whatsoever... mission accomplished you look much more full. See what years of hard work can do for you guys. He's on a cut and because he keeps his body composition under control he can take a 5 day hiatus from his diet and blow himself up!! That would be such a luxury for a guy like me. My ex-partner was so lean he never had to do cardio and still got down to a very thin skinned 4% at contest. Dedication just pays off.

Loved what's been said about Kurt Warner, just a fine human being and a good example to all of us. A real class act.
