Icarrin - verifying quality

I have two products Cozmar Nutrition 50% Icariin, and LiveLong 50% Icariin. The problem is the color of the powders don't match. The LiveLong is darker than the Cozmar.

Either way the seem dark brown compared to what I read 50% Icariin is supposed to look like, which would be a yellowish color. Matt from Designer Supplements once posted a picture of 40% Icariin in a thread before and it was lighter than my 50%.

My question would be how to verify what you got, COA's. Can anybody comment on Nutra's 50% Icariin?
 
a good guide for herbals is the higher concentration, the darker the powder (depending on active).
 
I thought it would be the opposite? So darker is better. I have some 98% Forslean and that stuff is white?

There is a huge difference and once youve seen 10-12 samples you can see what is good and bad just by the color, but thats only after having so many tested. The better the source of Icariin the lighter the color is. The quality stuff is a light yellow color, the cheap **** is a darker brown. The 90 is alsmot white, the yellow is so light.

I am going to be buying a 99.5% Icariin product 60 Tablets 50mg, it runs about $30. It does seem cheap from what others said Pure Icariin is very expensive.
