Lean Fx & Headaches

Andy G

Member
35 years old
206 lbs.
6'
10% b.f.
Lifetime athlete, 1 year body building experience.
Macros, on bulking cycle now: 400 g carbs, 275 pro, 55 fat.

10 days in to Lean Fx cycle, using as part of pct with AromX.

Other supps are milk thistle, hawthorne berries, whey. Clean diet.

Have been suffering wicked headaches. No other recent lifestyle changes, diet, etc. Stress is fairly low. Feel positive and healthy. But after my first set of weights I get this brutal headache that seems to be in the right side of my brain. Recently came off of a 6 week cycle of 4ad and Epistane. Had been very smooth until this. Cycle was awesome, 10 lbs lean gains, have been staying at that weight for last 10 days too. Strength feels up still. Anybody else experience this? Go see my Dr., I know.

I'm from/in Michigan too. Born and raised in East Lansing.

are you still here ? its freaking ridiculous cold this winter :zx11pissed: Im around Canton area. Looking for someone to kidnap me and hold me hostage on a tropical island :D

Yea, still here. I know, I didn't even realize my temperature gauge in my car had a negative - sign in front of it. It was -11 the other day when I got in the car. Sucks, but makes spring and summer that much more enjoyable. I live in Midland now.

My guess is a big change in blood pressure.

Post cycle therapy is a pretty big thing, and most prohormones can cause a change in blood pressure. What compound were you on? If it was a methyl, its very likely this could be the case.

Another possibility, could be from the purine content in LeanFX. As fitnfirm pointed out, H2O is always the way to go.

Epistane(methylated), with 4ad(non-methylated). I've been around a gallon a day, but I have up'd it since. We'll see Thursday when I hit shoulders. Thanks for the replies!

Bla55 is alright!!! We're going deep into March this year!

At 206 and training, a gallon/day definitely isn't enough IMHO. You really should up it. There's no exact formula for how much you should be taking in, but you should always be well hydrated when involved in activities, and particular strenuous ones like you are doing. I shoot for about 2 gallons each day for my size, and though it can be a drag, I've come to love a cold glass from the tap. :)

I would think that peeing a lot would be more of a sign of dehydration, particularly if it has color to it. Though the color thing may be a myth of sorts, yellow pee indicates that you may be pissing away nutrients and such that are water-soluble. Up the water intake. You may pee more, but it'll clear up, too.

Colorless pee is a sign that you're in the process of dehydrating, as it's primarily water.

The "yellow/green-ness" of pee is caused primarily by B-Vitamins. So it could be that you're dehydrated, or it could be that you've consumed many a vitamin pills.

A supposed method for passing a piss test has been to drink craploads of water, but consume many vitamins during the day, to make it seem as though your urine is not diluted. It's dangerous, though, and I believe there's ways in which the drug testers have found to work around this.

Aah... was hoping to get clarification on that one. Always good to weed out the wive's tales in my dusty attic of a brain. It leaves more room for the monkeys! :nutkick:

:firedevil:

Have you ever used any kind of nootropics like aneurin DBE before? There are a couple of nootropics that I've used that take some getting used to. Whenever I start taking L-Huperzine A, I get headaches for about a week and then it subsides. Maybe you just have to get used to this.

No I haven't taken anything like this before. But you know what, it's been 12 days now, and I drank down about an extra half gallon o water today, did a good and new shoulder workout, and voila, no headaches. Maybe body made adjustments, but good advice helped too. Thanks gang.

Anytime, bro. That's what we're here for! If you should see anything else crop up, just nab us and we'll be glad to help. And don't be afraid to share those nasty, disgusting little success stories as well!

Good luck!

Emphasis on "no matter how disgusting". Chances are, if you have a problem, someone else out there has had it too, but they might not be so brave as to man-up (so to speak) and talk about it.

Plus, I like to call Tim while he is eating dinner, and say "Hey, what are you eating? Really? Doesn't that remind you of the guy on the forums who ..." I haven't made him upchuck yet, but its only a matter of time.

Nope, I haven't. I've got lots of fortitutide. ;) :trout:
