Hey guys, help a brotha out! So I've been training pretty seriously for the past few years and I'm always pretty tight on money. The only supps Im using at the moment are whey protein, animal pak, taurine, and universal storm. Bottomline what supp should I add to the mix???

All ideas welcome........

All ideas welcome........
you got the basics covered, sleep is very important to growth and recovery. get some bulk powerful, it is cheap and effective.

well, if you are tight on money..... drop that animal pak and get a good multi like now adam or source naturals life force.

come on guys, storm has 5 grams of creatine in it.

thanks for all the suggestions guys, but yeah the storm has the bases of creatine covered. Im leaning towards adding BCAA's or beta alanine.......

Halotestin.

... That was a joke...

Beta Alanine works for a lot of people. What are your goals?

BCAA's should be a staple pre-workout. I saw a big difference when I started dosing them. Plus the are cheap. Xtend is real cheap and effective.

Now super EPA - 2 caps 3x a day. best high quality bang for the buck best form of epa.

I would suggest a high quality whey isolate, it has all the bcaa's you will need. allthewhey.com is pretty cheap. Use with waxy maize post workout, or 1 cup 100% grape juice if you can't swing the wms

Alright guys im really appreciating everyones opinions and thoughts. I'm not a noob, as you guys seem to take me for one haha.I'm just new to the board really, but its all good.

gmg760- good suggestions bro. My goals are just to get as big as possible but still be in shape to go run and play sports. Right now im 5'10 195 about 13% bodyfat. Im deffinatley getting some bulk beta alanine, been hearing great things about it bro.

Outspiral-ive tried fish oil for several bottles the other year and it seemed to offer me no benifits.

joint support whether its more basic like just glucosamine or more advanced like my log below. I got away with glucosamine my first couple of years and I needed to be taking something like animal flex or Osteo-sport. Osteo-sport is more immediate acting and eases pain faster. both are good products and its better to start early to prevent something faster; however if your not moving heavy weights and just getting started glucosamine alone is enough. as you start going heavier-heavy you'll need more or you'll pay the price. Learn all you can early to prevent injuries.

main thing you need is up the protein and nutrition this is way more important than creatine, beta alanine, l-glutamine the list goes on and all the products that work out there. get in at least 1 gram per pound of bodyweight and when your training intensely aim for 2. I mean balls out intensity like someone is pointing a gun to your head and if you don't get the ^%&^%^&* rep your gonna be shot! but save that for later because as a newbie this kind of intensity takes years yes years to build up.

Heat- Thanks for the study, and yeah I'm already taking creatine mono just forgot to mention it. I have heard of ALA helping in the uptake of essential nutrients. Seems pretty promising. Do you feel ALA gives you an edge in the long run?

Smeton-Thanks for the good info. Yeah I have had my diet pretty dialed in lately getting about 250-300 grams of protein. I eat so many oats I can't even explain the torture...... Actually I've had some pretty bothersome shoulder trouble for the past 2 years, I might go for a joint supp. How did animal flex treat you?

its good stuff, it takes longer to work than Osteo-sport. For more instant relief Osteo-sport works better.

250-300 is plenty to grow!

It is an anti-oxidant glucose disposal agent that also happens to add synergy to creatine uptake.

It's cheap and I use it all the time and have for years.

"An edge"...?! It adds synergy to creatine uptake :)

ALA increases pumps, anti-oxidant activity, and endurance, in addition to the stuff already mentioned. It's also dirt cheap. My first experience with ALA has been in Cre-02, and it definitely makes me hypo, UNLESS I eat OR exercise within a half hour > hour of taking it.

I must say upon my further research into the ALA Im sold on it. Since christmas I have luckily stumbled upon some extra cash, so heres what I'm going to buy at the moment:
Bulk Beta Alanine
Bulk Citrulline Malate
lots of ALA caps.

So for you ALA gurus, what kind of dosing are you on?
