WHEN A BERZERKER GOES STARK RAVING MAD!!

CHEST

INCLINE BENCH PRESSES

300 X 7-4-3 = 14 total reps. DC rest-pauses. 15 deep breaths (30 seconds)
205 X 17

I almost got that 8th rep on the DC set. There's some unusual looking rep numbers here this morning. That's because these sets were taken to absolute muscular failure! The only way to train!!

PEC-DECK FLYES

210 X 12
150 X 18

Then I went straight into a set of Flat Bench Presses: 155 X 14 reps. The pec-deck flyes had pre-exhausted them. So I toasted 'em with these flat bench presses!! :smite:

PULLOVERS

150 X 11
90 X 19

Grinding that shit out now!! No holding back!! Growlin' like a demon on each rep!!

KNEELING ONE-ARM CABLE CROSSOVERS (from the lowest pulley)

80 X 12
60 X 15

I'm hooked on these bad boys!! The isolation is unreal. I can concentrate so intensely on this movement. Unbelievable contractions.

PRE-EXHAUST SET OF STANDING PEC-DECK FLYES WITH FLAT MACHINE PRESSES

Standing pec-Deck Flyes: 200 X 19
Flat Machine Presses: 200 X 18

This one little pre-exhaust set was the most grueling set of the entire workout!! I fought back the pain and burn with everything I had within me. Those flat machine presses were so excruciating, it was almost orgasmic!! I'm sick like that!!!

ABS

3 TRI-SETS OF KNEELING ROPE CRUNCHES/LYING LEG RAISES/REVERSE CRUNCHES

3 sets of 25 reps each. No rest between the 3 individual exercises, and only 30 seconds rest between each tri-set.
I've officially took leave of my senses now! I've gone off the deep end of sanity. Reasoning has been tossed out. The Berzerker Rage has now consumed me!!! :fool2:

FIGHT ON KEEPERS OF THE ABYSS!!
:duel:

You're a madman, jeff! haha

I enjoy you logs man. Very informative, with a little chaotic flavour in there as well. Nice work buddy.

Isla Vista.

End Game. I win.

And I walked out of 4 years of college in Santa Barbara without catching anything. Nothing short of miraculous.

Motivation Time!!!

Nothing is going to stop me this morning! I just threw up. Big deal. Tossed my cookies. So what! This might stop a weaker being. But I am the God of Thunder incarnate. I will NOT let All-Father down. He chose this vehicle to place my eternal spirit within. Let's go to war!! :duel:

3 Week Formestane Bridge Cycle--day 22

NEWS FROM THE TRENCHES

TRICEPS

CLOSE-GRIP BENCH PRESSES

255 X 10
205 X 14

I'm starting to get in the groove on these now! Love 'em!! Focus was uber-intense this morning. Laser-like.

STANDING TRICPES PUSHDOWNS

200 X 9
130 X 21 :wtf:

My confidence and ego were seriously elevated for this session! But I surprised myself on that back-off set! Gotta believe!! :box:

ONE-ARM REVERSE-GRIP PUSHDOWNS

60 X 14
80 X 10

After that first set I realized it was too light. So I bumped it on up!! Grinding 'em out like a machine!

SUPERSET OF ROPE PUSHDOWNS WITH DB KICKBACKS

Rope Pushdowns: 150 X 12
DB Kickbacks: 40's X 15

Oh the burn!! Felt like someone had a blowtorch on 'em!!

BICEPS

STANDING WIDE-GRIP CABLE BAR CURLS

200 X 7-4-3 = 14 total reps. DC style. Rest-Pauses.
110 X 21

My strength was undeniable on these. Lots of my old workout partners used to call me "King Curl"!! I used to yell before doing a set, "I am King Curl. I can curl da world"!!

ONE-ARM CABLE PREACHER CURLS

75 X 12
50 X 15

I felt so powerful curling these bad boys!! The pump was incredible. My arms were all veiny, swollen, and freaky looking!!

LYING LAT PULLDOWN CURLS TO FOREHEAD

160 X 11
110 X 18

These cause such a delicious cramp in my biceps. Total torture!! Working on the peak here.

ONE-ARM BENTOVER CONCENTRATION CURLS (ala Arnold)

60 lb. DB X 14 reps.

MIT CARDIO: 25 minutes. Medium Intensity Training.

I want to say something. And please don't anybody take this the wrong way. I'm not singling anyone out. But I had one of the best workouts ever this morning AFTER I threw up before the workout even started. I see people skipping workouts because they have a runny nose, stuffy head, or upset tummy!! Please....man up!! I am so glad I didn't bow out on this workout!! Look what glory I would have missed!!

I knew once I had made up my mind to carry on, that it was going to be spectacular. I was walking my dog (my pre-workout warm-up) and the cold air hit my face when I walked outside. It was like a fresh breath of life from All-Father!! I was renewed and rejuvenated. I called forth the Berzerker Rage and went at my session like a god-possessed!! :fool2::smite:

Much easier than I thought it would be considering I went right after that last set of lying curls to the forehead. Must go up next week!!

awesome thundah!

I love close grip bench. Slower the better. TG, how wide is the grip for the wide curls?

60's for 14 on concentration curl...I dont think Arnold could've done that much...

Have you ever seen pumping iron Tom?

Not to knock TG becase 60 for 14 on the concentration curls are rediculous, but come on Tom.

I love it...if I recall right, Arnold only does 6 or 8 reps of concentration curls, IDK how much it was

It's either the 70's or the 90's from how the dumbbell cap on the end looked... I forget how many plates he had. Either way. 60 lbs, 90lbs... way to f*cking heavy for me at this point. LOL!

One of my friends who attended UC Santa Barbara lived at the Isla Vistas his freshmen year. That place was sick. I remember looking over a balcony and seeing a girl tanning in her bikini in her backyard and she had every right to be in one. God bless her heart.

All of a sudden I really want some milk!!

I've missed a lot in here TG. That lift today was great, especially doing so after many would have thrown in the towel. :box:

The caption says it all!! Man we are a primitive breed aren't we?

You can do it brother. I'm sure this won't be your first rodeo here cowboy!! I've been lifting for over 25 years now. This has happened more than once! LOL I didn't really "feel" sick yesterday. It was just a gastrointestinal explosion and then it was over. I knew immediately after it was over, that I was going to kill my workout!

In the future if any of you feel like skipping a workout, or backing off the poundages, or holding back the effort, or see a village that needs pillaged, a maiden that needs molested, or monestaries that need looted and burned.........just ask yourselves this one question:

WWTGD??!! (What would Thundergod do?)

I want to say that my threads would be as nothing if not for all the wonderful friends and supporters that I have here.

All of you keep it exciting and interesting. My threads are only popular because you kind people have made them thus.

My small part is to pour all of my heart and soul into my training so as to not let any of my readers down. I will never surrender!! :duel:

We come back to see the damage you do. You definately get me fired up and give me something to shoot for. As they say, reach for the moon. You might not make it, but you might reach a star.

3 Week Formestane Bridge Cycle--day 23

NO SLACK BACK ATTACK!!

LATS

REVERSE-GRIP PULLDOWNS

300 X 8-4-2 = 14 total reps. DC style rest-pauses.
230 X 14

I'm starting this blast cycle off heavy. I want some increases from last blast. This is what it's all about. Progress or quit!! Kill or be killed!!

OVERHAND CLOSE-GRIP PULLDOWNS

280 X 10
210 X 14

Heavy stuff here. I just love the feel of heavy iron in my hands. I grip the bar and squeeze it with all of my might to warn my muscles, "We're getting ready to kick some ass here"!!

SEATED CABLE ROWS

310 X 11
240 X 15

I could really feel my lats working hard on these. You won't curl this kind of weight!! So you'd better learn to use your lats if you want to throw this kind of steel around!!

STANDING ISO ROWS

210 x 11
210 x 10

I can feel these all the way up through my traps as I'm squeezing at the completion of the rep. Sadistic and yet sublime. :smite::box:

TRAPS

MACHINE SHRUGS

420 X 14 (up 20 lbs.!!)
320 X 18

I went for it on these. No limitations. No weakness.
Just all-out effort. And the Berzerker Rage!! :aargh::rant::frustrate:mad:

STANDING ONE-ARM DB SHRUGS

110 X 15

I do this exercise with my free hand holding onto an upright to stablize my body. Then I lower the DB much lower than normal range of motion. And then I try to stuff my traps into my ears to get the hardest contraction possible. :head:

ABS

3 TRI-SETS OF ROPE CRUNCHES/LYING LEG RAISES/REVERSE CRUNCHES

3 sets of 25 reps each exercise. Only 30 seconds rest between each tri-set. Brutality undeniable. :aargh:

The weights are feeling much lighter this time around. I'm expecting the miraculous from this blast cycle.

Believe it and achieve it!! :box:

Silver is right. You are pretty much the lifeblood of AM TG. You are the character with charisma that stands out above the rest. Keep it up bro!
