Hello everyone! New to the boards here. I've been reading on the boards for a while and finally got some time to register and start posting. I'm a clinical registered dietitian that specializes in long term health care and pediatrics. My passion has always been sports nutrition, but in my area I cannot make a living off of sports nutrition. I have a private consulting business, Synergy Nutrition. The bulk of our clients are pediatric patients. I've been out of the supplement game for quite a while, I don't know what the latest products are anymore, so that is why I am here. I will be starting my shredding diet in Jan. I have been researching some supplements that I'm willing to try out. My diet will be cycling carbs, high, low, zero carb days. This has worked for me very well. The supplements are as follows, please feel free to input any advice:

Goal is to gradually reduce bodyfat while maintaining muscle
Supplements considering to try out:
Ultimate Mass Pump Stack from Nutraplanet
P-Slin Bulk
Cissus Bulk
Sesamin from Primaforce
CLA Supreme Caps
ZMA
T-Bol by Thermolife
Anabolic Pump
The New Lean X-Treme

What do you all think? Thanx for any advice.

Thanx for the welcome! My current stats are:
5'6
178lbs
~18% BF <-This needs to drastically come down. Goal is to be 10% by the 2nd Qtr of 2009.
Goal weight: Doesn't matter, as long as I improve on bf%. I'm guessing around 165lbs to bel lean.

Here are your goal weights - Do your math dude.

178lbsx 0.18= 32.04

You have 32 lbs of fat of your 178 lbs if you are 18% bf.

178-32 = 146LBM

146x.1 = 14.6

146+14.6 = 160.4lbs @ 10%bf.

178-160= 18lbs lost to reach goal.

You need to lose 18 pounds to reach your goal. If you put on some weight during this time you could maybe lose 15 lbs and reach your goal. Figure a solid 1-2 lbs a week can be burnt if you REALLY want it.

All the best, I'll be rooting for you to reach your goal!

Thanx for the math! I know it is really hard, but i was assuming on trying to increase some lean mass, hence the 165lbs. And yes, my diet is down, the only thing that will be new for me is the supplement stack. I can't due hard stims due to my high blood pressure. Only coffee or green tea for me. Thanx again.

The slower you lose the more chance you will have of gaining mass while you lose fat which we call recomp. I have had some success at maintaning my weight while I lose fat but it's slow going... about .25 % body fat a week when things are going well.
