hey any hunters. have you filled your tags yet. last friday i rattled in and shot a 4X5 Whitetail. he wasn't big. out to his ears wide and 10 in tall.:jaw:

I used to deer hunt when I was growing up, but haven't for prob. 14 years. Basically my bro and I got stuck with the swamp driving while the other guys sat, ate sandwhiches, sh!t their pants, and shot the deer we scared up.

BTW, a 10" tall deer is.....a pygmie or something. Nice find.
 
Man thats got to suck the older people did that to me when i was younger. i didnt shoot **** until i went out by myself. i hate to say but i have been hunting for 5 years now and that was my first deer. although i seen alot nothing that met my standards.

and ya he is a bit of a pygmie

Yup, I hunt. What state are you hunting in?

I'm at the top of MN. It's going to be a cold one this weekend but we have a tone of doe tags to fill. Got any pic.'s of the buck to post?
 
i live in NorthWestern Montana. and no i dont have any pics (no camera) but Holy **** my landlord from california came up for hunting season and ended up having to get surgery so he couldnt hunt and he let me fill his tag. i went out yesterday and shot a 5X5 whitetail 17.5 in inside spread and 16 in tall. biggest buck i have ever killed i am jacked. now i just need to bag an elk

Congrats man, that's a trophy. How was the mass of the rack?

You could have said "I Live in God's country" and I would have understood. Glacier National Park is quite a place, how far from it are you?
