dont let it stop you. i have broken pretty much every finger and it has never stopped me doign anything. just put in a brace and learn how to adapt
 
yeah, I broke the finger all the way through and tore the ligament on top of the finger, resulting in mallet finger with a broken finger... On Friday I will see a specialist to determine whether or not I will need surgery. The recovery is due to the combination of the tear and break. At least that's what the doctor said.
I worked out Sunday, and It's impossible to grab a bar with only a index and pinky finger.
Trust me, I love to lift and work out, but I seriously don't see how it will work. I can still do legs and most of the extensor muscles because I don't have to grip as hard. I did order lifting hooks though, so come friday, I will see how those work out for me. I would just be missing forearms completely.

yeah man hope it gets better and you find you can train. Ive been down without training for six months of upper body, basically. and now I'm going light. You may need surgery. hope it works out fellow lifting bro. hooks can work temporary.

ok, its question able buti plan to. Like i said tho, no required class choosing as of yet. Just come a week out, we'll need to know. Right now its just to get an idea of amount of people. Looks soild though.
 
mental, i'll be moving up as well if i'm not careful. 7 lbs in the lsat 2 weeks.....i'm blaming it on my current log though.

Thanks Smeton. I'd have to drop some weight for that no doubt. I lost my tan now and I still have some decent cuts, but I'm not as good as I used to be. I burnt out of the excessive exercise. Ya know?

Hey thats alright, as for the questions I am 20, lifted for about 2 years have no references, and this is the first forum i have joined and actually posted on. As for pictures i dont really have any at this moment, or at least no current ones i have a few from a few months back, but that is all.

for what? No biggie man if you are talking about the show. Just ease into it, its worse if you lengthen an injury for soemthing minut.

Thanks. I got surgery on wednesday and am going to see the Dr. again tomorrow. He put a pin in through the end that goes all the way through the joint. and I was talking about the show.
 
what was the cause of the injury dafox?

I contribute mine mainly to going to heavy and not backing off when I should have. also not watching the way I was picking up stuff at work.

mine was playing flag football and going for the guy's flag. I jammed my finger right into his hip, harder than I thought, and it broke and the ligament tore off... and I was thinking :wtf:
I have to be careful with my lower back for sure though.
 
what is everyones cardio looking like were still at least ten weeks out?

I think im going to up mine by four more 15 minutes sessions per week . I breathe hard! esp on the incline at 15..the no incline is easy and I like incline better. its wayyy harder I sound like a fat man running a mile . after i get going its easy though

Update here. I have 2 pins in my finger now. I'm trying to post a couple, but I can't get them resized small enough. Anyone have any tips for this? :frustrate

Open them up in Paint, in the top under image there's a option that says resize/skew, just keep reducing each side untill it fits.

Same as it's always been and same as it will most probably stay. 6-7 days a week, for 20-30 minutes per session. (It'll be my DIET that changes, not training!)

Although, technically I'm not preparing (not sure if the female section is still happening?); I'm getting ready for some photo shoots and will just post pics for the competition date.
 
hard to see here of course, but you can see my finger is wrapped up pretty good with the pins there.
