Liver Tabs

With that frothy fat cream topping on it? I just never could imagine that stuff going into my mouth but I may be missing out by being closed minded.

Every time I hear the word liver, I think of Hannibal Lector making that nasty tongue noise he does in Silence of the Lambs...
 
I figured with the two tubs I already have, it'll be about a years supply.

I start D.C. Training next week, so I need all the protein I can get :)

Good idea. Let me know how that DC training treats you... I have been contemplating that for my next set up...
 
Just had to get a bunch in at the old price while I could. Nothing wrong with that. Saved me over $30 that way.

B Con - I'll definitely be posting about D.C. once I'm in full swing. I've been doing the workouts off and on for the past few weeks just to test it out and gauge my weights/reps. I fuking love it thus far.

Yeah I am lost on that, but I love Bromalein, def helps with assimilation of foods, and cutting down digestion issues.
 
ive been using them for years. i chew them up and chase with pineapple juice. old school stack from the 60s.

Def old school... Love the idea of using the bromelain in pineapples to help enhance the effects of digestive enzymes like trypsin. There's a reason bromelain is a meat "tenderizer"...
 
Am I the only one that takes these between meals instead of with meals? I take 6 tabs 3 times a day between meals (and no, they don't replace any small meals/snacks I already eat).

When I started using them I would take them 1 or 2 at a time every hour of the waking day. So with food and without. I noticed that this was giving me gas. Now I only take them with food and I don't gas any more on them but either way they worked for me and never upset my stomach or anything. It's dried liver, it's food!

Been taking em for several years, they do work. Downing them between meals is a great way to create some bad ass gas. I use them for some great bombs at the fire house,,LOL
 
Yeah, the gas part sucks... but I'm getting in around 40g more protein per day now using these, and I can tell its helping. I'll have some smelly farts for an extra 40g any day!
 
Yea if you take them with food fellas you wont get the gas like that. Taking them between meals is for sure a good way to gas up LOL!

Well, I like the fact that I can basically get protein in every 60-90 minutes using liver tabs between meals, so I'll just deal with the gas and enjoy the steady flow of aminos :)

Every 60-90? Keep in mind that there's a difference between the intact aminos in Uni-Liver vs. ffAAs. Also, with the tableting, you won't get a rush of aminos with the Uni-Liver supps. Personally, I think you'd be fine taking Uni-Liver with your meals if you're eating every 1 - 1.5 hrs.
 
I'm eating every 3 hours or so, and take them between meals, so I don't go without new protein for more than 90 minutes. I know it's probably a little ridiculous, but hey, its working :)

Ahh. Gotcha. By all means--that's the name of the game. If it works for you, that's what matters.

Now don't start thinking I'm 262 @ 10% bf or anything. :nono:

I carry a lot of good weight... and a lot of the bad stuff as well :food:


Birds of a feather my man. Just keep it in check. You gotta eat to make gains so a little "extra" is allowed for now...

I'm getting in 3 a meal on OFF days and 4 a meal on ON days. Changing things is really up to you. I just believe in flooding the body with aminos...

So i figure a few extra liver tabs arent a bad idea esp after gruelling workouts. Im glad to hear other guys using less tho ill cut back to 3 OFF 4 ON, thanks gents.
