"Perfect Pushups" Routine

This is the same workout that comes with the "perfect pushup" rotating bars like you've seen on TV, cept I'll tell you it for free

Basically....... find out what your max pushups set is right now. 30? 40? DONT guess. Effin DO IT.

Your max is ( "m" ) the perfect routine is:

1st set "m" x .8

Second set is .8("m"x.8)

3rd set is .8(.8("m"x.8))

Here's the kicker. Do ALL 3 SETS in under 2 minutes. Rest. Repeat as you wish. The more you do, the more ripped you get.

WARNING: your max pushups will increase, so test it again every 2 weeks.

See you on the other side

Bro, if you can consistenly do pushups for 90 seconds, I'd say dont take less than a 2 min rest in between sets.

The idea of this workout is to work your pec under stress, or hypertrophy. Basically, begin to build your next flush of lactic acid before the other flush is relieved by your lungs pumping sufficient oxygen to your muslces.

So giv that a try

Your max is ( 112 ) the perfect routine is:

1st set "112" x .8 = 89

Second set is .8("112"x.8) = 71

3rd set is .8(.8("`112"x.8)) = 57

Here's the kicker. Do ALL 3 SETS in under 2 minutes. Rest. Repeat as you wish. The more you do, the more ripped you get.

given the above, ^^^^

so a 2 minute break in between sets is what you'd recommend for me to try or should i go for completion in under 5 minutes, what would work best here?

i'm really interested in this concept, since my pecs seem to take awhile to grow now.

Bottom line,

I've never seen anyone do a fast past pushup set, full extension for 90 seconds straight, no stopping or locking elbows.

But, if thats your case, I would say do the 3 sets, but take a 1.5 min rest between sets

military. all counted, done in the allocated two minutes.

will definitely try it on friday (next chest day). thanks for the idea.

i have retarded endurance, and my strong point is triceps, so it came with the territory. the rest of my body is probably substandard.

I'll give this a try as well. My max for 2 minutes (military as well) is 103, but it is over 2 min and I do rest in the up position so I guess I'm not technically in continuos motion.

i own the perfect pushups and they actually worked really well now they are a permanent part of my chest workouts

You're increasing muscular lactate threshold; as far as hypertrophy is concerned, this will do very little.
