Why not go to North Korea, or Saudi Arabia, or Sudan, or many other parts of the world where people have been killed by the thousands by their governments? Bush was on a hell-bent mission to go into Iraq as soon as he took office.

Omen the army is there "in case" your life is put at risk only as a last resort. I dont think this Oil war is last resort and you must be very brave to be willing to die for it.

Read your stats a little closer, thats people dead since the invasion, not people killed by US Soldiers. A lot were dead from terrorist attacks and tribal warfare.

Saddam was credited with 2 million deaths in the article below, yet those people aren't innocent victims, just the ones since 2003?

Freedom isn't free. Its easy to say we shouldn't have gone there based on the numbers that died. Its a lot harder to say, we're there, we have a job to do, and finish that job before we leave.

Regardless of the motives to go in, we brought the fight to the countries THEY hide in. Saddam was just a bonus.

As for the 1.2 figure, you MUST be reading some far left media source that is account for all the civilians the terrorist kill, not the US. Because the insurgents kill kids cause they know we will run to help and rescue the wounded, then roll in a car bomb to kill the US.

I don't care who you are, but tell me who the evil ones are? It MUST be the US because we are the ones willing to take on this big of a problem.... or is it NATO; because they backed it 100%? I can't remember.

I dont get how some people think these days, its just so far out of touch with reality that I really do think I should be wearing my foil hat just so this type of propaganda doesn't get me too.

I kinda miss Germany. It was like being in your own world over there.

Oh yeah... I loved my time in Germany. Definitely was a highlight. I like miesau because it was 24H. I dont know how no gym on a base that had 22K people didnt run a 24H gym. :frustrate:
