Aight guys, just got my batch of new protein in...thanks again mark for the best customer service and fast shipping. YOU ARE THE MAN! on to the reviews...
Coffee:
I was anxiously awaiting to try this one. I have had Dymatize elite cafe mocha, as well as BSN syntha 6 mochacchino powders, and both of those are unbelievable as far as taste. But, neither are pure isolate, and thats what I use.
Finally, I made a shake like regular, and it turned out to be a little thick, so I added another 2oz of water than normal, and it seemed to be more liquidy than a frothy shake.
Taste: For me was dissappointing, b/c its not what I was expecting or looking for in a coffee flavor. It has a good taste, but to me, it is more of a hazelnut coffee flavor...or like a loaded cappachinno taste that has hazlenut, carmel, whip creame, and vanilla in it. But to me, the strongest taste was the hazelnut taste, and I am just not a fan of hazelnut. I would like it if it tasted more like the two listed above...more of a straigh up coffee/strong cappachinno taste. More of a mocha flavor than a vanilla-y flavor. Its good, if you like hazelnut coffee, but just not me.
Choc/PB:
I first opened the bag, and it smelt delicious. This time my shake came out a bit thinner than usual...so I know the tast would be better, once I figure out the right about of water to put it. But, even though it was thin and tasted a bit watered down, it was delicious. If you taste the powder right out of the back, it tastes very similar. Basically, its dead on to me as far as taste..tastes exactly like choc/PB...or maybe like a toned down reeces butter cup. Im in love with the flavor now! Its my new chocolate substitute!
Overall, I am very happy with these two new flavor, I just wish the coffee, tasted like straight up coffe, or more like one of the starbucks cappachino chiller drinks you can get in the glass bottle at the gas station or grocery.
