Liver Tabs

LOL! Yea fellas, realy really. I chew my Uni-Liver tabs sometimes. I actually crave the taste sometimes. I could tell you more but it appears I may shock you fellas so I'll just leave it with the Liver tabs... :thumbsup:

A week and a half into my tabs. They make me feel... Good! No other way to describe it. I feel 100% when I take them. My dosage is at 4 tabs, 4 times a day.

The gas is there, but I'm a man who loves his own brand, so bring them on!

As far as gains, too early to tell. But as others have said, you don't really notice it untill you haven't taken them. Just an overall feeling of wellness. I'm sold on these things!
 
Oh and a question...

How many tabs equal 100 grams? I notice for the Amino Acid profile it lists as per 100 grams of liver, not per serving.

Is 30 grain = 30 gram???

I told ya. It's a really weird feeling that's hard to describe. You just feel "better" and more energized throughout the day--not a stim-based kinda energy. More natural. Also, if you stop taking it for a while, you'll probably notice a difference there too. Go figure. Many report increased appetites too when taking Uni-Liver, which would make it great on a bulk.

man I hated mine. I am sure it was a great product, but they stink and are huge.... and for someone who is rarely home to walk around with what looks and smells like dog food in my pocket was unreasonable.

sweet man but i would really stress for u to eat them threw out the day and try to eat at least 30 to 40 aday. if done thats 48 to 64 grams of liver!! protien!

I will def. do that when I have money for some more of them, just got a new job so when I get my check I'll be stocking up on them.
 
Ive used these and still have some in my stash. Ive heard these increase testosterone, Animal, do you know if there's any truth in that?


Last time I remember were high in B vitamins ,paba, and other nutrients on the level and mostly used for extra protein.

I have not seen any credible source which indicates that liver tabs increase test. Then again, it's probably safe to say that no researchers are really looking at liver tabs in their labs, hahahaha...
 
liver is naturally very high in vitamin a, but i'm not seeing any listed in uni-liver's profile - any ideas?
I don't think it would be enough to cause retinoid toxicity or anything, I just found it curious that vitamin a isn't in there

I checked with the lab for you on that bro. The Vitamin A in liver is naturally occurring so it will vary a bit from batch to batch but Uni-Liver will yield somewhere around 66IU per tablet.

Here is what I got back from the boys in the lab:

There would be roughly 3400IU per 100g of pure dessicated liver. There is 1950mg of liver per tablet so it would work out to 66IU per tablet.

Hey Hoomgar, I got a question for either you or the rep....I bought a big bottle of Uni-Liver a couple years back, and then I realized that I could not swallow them. Now, as of late I have gotten used to taking them, so I want to give them another go around but Im not sure if they are still good...? There is no exp. date on them?

Coupla years ago? There should be an expiration date--maybe printed in ink?

Straight from the source:

Uni-Liver should have a 4 year shelf life. There should be an expiration date stamped onto each container. It's usually stamped above the label onto the white bottle as such--
EXP: 8/4/12 would mean that it expires August 4th, 2012

Good deal then. At least you don't need to throw them out.

Uni-Liver tabs are a great way to get extra amino's, B vitamins, protein and more added to each meal. Been used by body builders for decades because they work. Old school doesn't have to mean obsolete.

Old school just means its proven. I love uni-livers... take bout 15 a day!

I barely attached your product and you come back wiht a simplistic "duh you're an idiot" defense rather than anything with any thought...

But hey if you want to risk eating a sewage filter for the vitamins then good luck to you. Some things ARE worth the risk to health some are not. Liver Tabs might or might not pose a health risk but if you think about it the potential gains are much less than the potential loss ion health and since there is about as much logic behind thinging them will behurtful as there is to being beneficial then the bottom line is it doesn't make smart sense.

I wasn't debating with you on that J. I was merely commenting on the last post. The insults. Just don't understand it thats all. I roll a whole different way than the "masses" do on these boards. You wont find me slinging insults to anyone or telling someone what it is that I hate about them or the company they support. There is no need to poke or jab. If ya don't like something for a reason. You certainly are entitled to your opinion. I just don't stoop to taking jabs or the like so I was asking ya about that as it took me back a step or two J. No biggie.

I know full well what the liver is to the body and as such, I don't eat liver! So why do I take liver tabs? For the reasons I've said. Maybe I am under thinking it bro? Could be. I do know I for sure have noticed gains from using them over time and I feel better when I take them for sure so I am guessing that some sort of toxin reduction must be taking place during the manufacturing process.

It's certainly a fair question as you are right about what the liver is. I'll get more information from the lab for ya and let you know what they say. Fair enough?

Let's put things back to perspective fellas... Uni-Liver does use grass fed Argentine cattle.


Well that is one good point. That alone should reduce the amount of toxins ingested by the animal in the first place. I've put in a feeler to our lab guys U and we'll see what they come back with. I just don't imagine it to be an issue or it would have been known to be a problem long ago. Seeing as how all the greats of old used this trick for most of their careers.

I was pointing that out cuz it's not necessarily the same as buying beef liver in the U.S. and cookin' it up... Grass fed is different.

If they don't give them anything else in their diet then that qualifies as Organic doesn't it? It's a solid point U. I knew that already from reading the can but like I said above, I'm probably guilty of under thinking it. I just know that all the big lifters of old had written how they used these and that is why I set out to find them. I've been using them every since and I feel great so I have to believe that they are nutritious and good for me.

Still J is right about the liver being the body's dirt filter although I'm not sure how much of a concern that should be to us who consume it? I'm looking forward to seeing what the lab guys can tell us.

A liver is a liver is a liver, organic, synthetic, or from your pet dog... I'm not saying they are super unsafe and personally I would take anything even if it was unsafe if I knew the benfits were enough to justify it for me (check out my log ha - I am NOT afraid of taking risks for rewards). All I am saying is some added vitamins and a few grams of protein don't justify the unknown toxins...

I'm not attacking anyone, I have been very impartial on this but I guess no one on this board lieks it when you question their supps. Oh, well I've never been here to be popular but enough members here who I speak with respect me for that.

As a consumer, it's critical that you get as many perspectives on any supplement, especially a new one that you've never used before. Not one rep, Universal or Animal, disagrees with this.
 
I got a barely opened bottle of Uni-Liver i cant wait to start taking them i used to only take 2 tabs a day i am going to move to 6 tabs a day. what do you suggest would be a good dose of Uni-Liver to take to get some real muscle mass.:hammer:

Just depends on diet/training mostly. I take around 3 to 4 spread out over 3 or 4 of my meals. Definitely take them with food and just move up from the 2 tabs a day as you see fit.
