I'm a guy, but I know several women that are really into bodybuilding and fitness training. I know that Optimum Nutrition's Thermo Cuts has worked well for one of them as a thermogenic fat burner. It doesn't contain the virility ingredients found in many thermogenics that make them more specific for men; however, it does contain a good amount of caffiene. I have used this myself and had great results, as have the women I know who have used it. I generally take 3 capsules three times a day. The max serving is 4 capsules 3 times a day and that is a bit strong for me. I'd recommend starting with 1 capsule twice a day and working your way up.
Agreed diet and training are the most important. If those are covered then honestly its a fine line between men and women. I see no reason to seperate the two when it comes to fat burners. Just watch your dosing per weight guidelines and hit the gym.
Do weight training as muscle burns fat at a resting rate. Hit the cardio at least 3 times a week. Eat 6 meals or so a day. 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight you weigh. You can't build muscle without adequate protein.
