Back in the gym after 6 months of being a *****
Soooo...not sure how kosher a question this is, but here goes:
I've long been a customer of ATW. I think they're the best-priced, best-tasting whey protein in the game. However, I also enjoy the articles on T-Nation, even though most read like Biotest ads.
That said, I'm going to do the V-Diet for the second time starting in a few weeks. I'm trying to avoid using Biotest supps, since (a) I don't have $356,325 I'd need for the four-week diet for my wife and I, and (b) I want to continue patronizing a company that has done me well for years (ATW). My struggle tonight is trying to compare the Biotest stuff to something ATW sells.
The primary foodsource on the V-Diet is Invalid Link Removed. Made up of a protein blend (whey-protein isolate (milk), micellar casein (milk), milk-protein concentrate), I don't really see anything on the ATW site that would mimic it.
I do, however, see some of the ingredients. What does AM think about mixing equal parts ATW Opti-Blend (which mimics Drive, except it does not contain any casein) and ATW MPI? Or maybe Calcium Caseinate? I'm just not sure. I can do the math and get to the same macronutrients as Drive, but I want to make sure the protein profiles are similar, as it sounds like the casein leads to a fuller feeling, which is welcome with this diet.
So hopefully this isn't stepping on toes, and thanks for your responses.
