What does JP4 and JP8 stand for?

^^^^ correct

JP-4 is a fuel used by the Airforce that was replaced by JP-8 but a lot of bases still use JP-4.

JP4, by GET DIESEL is an endurance blend, and future endurance product.

JP8....is JP8.

Cool. So I already knew they were Get Diesel products/proprietary blend names and now I know they are fuel types but do the letters/numbers actually stand for something?

Or is it something like model numbers or formula numbers that just kind of stuck when they found one that worked. For example, Formula 409 (the cleaner) was the 409th formulation that did what they wanted it to.

I know GD posted why he used that type of naming and I believe it had something to do with his stint in the military. I'll see if I can find his post explaining the naming process.

Awesome. I assumed he has some military experience if he were to name them this way.
