Testosterone health check

Texas, is that you in the avy? Damn son!

ReaperX, I know of a few, quality professionals who use the saliva tests. It's great for testing adrenal function.

I agree. I was curious if anyone actually used that product specifically and had good results with it. That's pretty reasonable for pricing for what it says it tests.

I was going to get it but figured, whatever the level, all im going to keep doing is try and keep getting it as high as possible anyway. i saved like $42 doing that woo

Yeah, but it is good to check it occassionally. Bloodwork adds up after awhile even after insurance. Plus getting test/estro is more 'taboo' vs. getting other blood markers checked, at least for me when I get mine done.

these things are ridiculously expensive. BUT i will likely get one someday, when i feel it's warranted. BUT STILL, they are ridiculously expensive.

I guess this is mostly for Americans, since most Canucks have insurance and it's free.. I just go to the doc and say I want a blood test, and they do it right away...

yeah blood work is very expensive. My bloodmarker, each item tested LDL, HDL, etc I think winds up being $38.00 each. This is pre-insurance.

so it is not too difficult to have a full-panel exceed $1,000 for me which it usually does. After the insurance takes care of alot, the co-pay isn't that bad.

Anything except test/estrogen testing most places dont care.

but going back to the same place repeatedly and having your test/estrogen tested is going to raise some questions.

This test claims to test free test which is what we want. I found it $27.95 on some sites. I go to the doc to get my test tested but $35 co-pay plus bloodwork adds up. Not to mention the long wait between visits. I also have to tell him I'm fatigued so the insurance company will pay for it. So complicated..

Out of couriosity..have you gents attempted to take the results to your pcp to get a script for test therapy? That is if your numbers are low of course.
