What's up fellas.
So I am tired as heck. I just brought my 7 week old boxer puppy, Baxter, home, and he is quite the handful. I love the guy, but man, he didn't let me sleep last night for more than an hour at a pop... we'll see how legs go today lol.
Funny thing, he took like 5 dumps this morning, for a second I thought he had gotten into my Recreate. :toofunny:
My roommate has the day off, so he is watching him for a few hours while I update my log and go get a workout in... Thanks Scott (my roommate). We'll see how running my home based business goes with the little sh*t machine running around.
So I got chest yesterday, I switched up from using free weights to using the iso lateral hammerstrength machines. I actually took some advice from an (in shape) older woman in the gym who LOVES to inform everyone of how good of a trainer she is and give out advice to people who don't ask for it. Regardless, I had been contemplating using the hammerstrength machines for a while, as I have been VERY plateued on my barbell bench, and am looking for ANYTHING to improve it. I realize I am on a cut, and am not going to be breaking any personal bests as far as strength goes, but I have been stuck for a while... not on dumbbells, but only barbell. So I gave the hammerstrength a shot, and got a GREAT pump out of it. I think I am going to use the hammerstrength for chest during the next four weeks, and change up most of my routines for the next four weeks from barbells to dumbbells.
Regardless, the woman I was speaking of hadn't pissed me off, (I am kinda used to her talking out her ass to everyone... we just ignore it rather than putting her in her place out of respect for our elders...) but then she went and really made me angry. Angry to the point that I caused a scene lol.
She was talking about how I never hit the inside of my chest because my form was wrong... fair enough, my inner chest is not developed like I would like, so I listened, but then she went on to say, very loudly, in front of the entire gym that she had been watching me go to the gym for years now and I should be much bigger than I am had I the knowledge to lift correctly, and that I was going nowhere without the help of a trainer like her.
Well, I know I didn't eat or train right for the first year or so, hell I skipped out on my legs forever, but in the past two years I have gained about 22 lbs of LBM. And I let her know this. Very loudly.
"I gained 22 lbs of LBM in the last two years. Don't you f*cking insult me or anyone else in the gym with your know it all bullsh*t. If you don't think that is progress you can go f*ck yourself you washed up b*tch."
And then the entire gym got quiet. She walked away and looked like she was gonna cry.
F*ck her anyways if her skin isn't as thick as her bite is sharp.
I mean, I don't mind taking criticism and advice, but don't insult me you f*cking c*nt. I can't stand people who give advice and then put people down, it is completely unmotivating and the only reason people do it is to jack off their own ego. I mean, come on, what kind of trainer tells everyone in the gym how wrong they work out? I'll tell you who, a person who isn't a trainer who is trying to impress a bunch of people who don't give a sh*t. Sorry b*tch, but I work harder than 98% of the members at my gym, and I guarandamntee that I am growing faster than anyone there who isn't on the sauce. AND I AM ON A F*CKING CUT! WTF?! I told her upfront I was on a cut and wasn't lifting for size at the moment. It went in one ear and out the other. "If you were doing it right you could grow on a cut".
Yea, and if you had a life you wouldn't have to bother me during my workout. I know I shouldn't let it get to me, but I just hate when people put negative thoughts into ANYONE'S head who is working out. It is completely counterproductive. I am 100% positive to whoever I help out around the gym. It's always "C'mon, LETS GET IT!" or "KEEP IT UP, YOU'RE KILLING IT!" or "Try this, it will really help your goals out". Not her insulting bullsh*t. If she had been a dude, I probably would have swung I was so pissed, mostly because she does this to EVERYONE at the gym. She was so surprised when I gave her a piece of my mind. She can bother people somewhere else.
Anyway, I just had to vent. Call me an assh*le if you want, but I felt a lot better afterwards. Hopefully she'll shut the f*ck up from now on.

HIIT
Stationary bike 20min.
I didn't have that great a workout after I got pissed... it was the wrong kinda anger for the gym, it really got into my head, couldn't transpher it to the weights.... I'll do my best to be positive today!
