done my first glute injection on sunday a lil bit lower than i should have. Still aching now and was getting pains down my leg. Did i damage my sciatic nerve?

You are probably alright. Unless the pain is unbearable, or the injection site is red/hot to the touch. When you say 'down your leg', what exactly do you mean?

down the back the leg was twitching. its bearable and isnt red or hot. So im guessing i lucked out and just moved the needle about a bit while it was in. Getting in and out my car is a *****

If you hit your sciatic nerve then you would've had a pretty awful injection experience. Hitting nerves hurts like hell in my experience.

When I hit nerves it is like getting an electrical shock and reacting at the same time. I did a quad once and the reaction made me kick over a shelf. Woke me up.

To the OP: Sounds like you are just sore. It happens, especially first time. You'll get used to it.

is the ventrogluteal hard to shoot? might give ethat a try
I find it hard, but some love it. I shot into my left ventro just fine, and when it came time for my right ventro I somehow hit a nerve and scared the crap out of myself. I avoided the ventro's after that, lol. But, that's just me.. Like I said, some people love that location.
