I guess the only question now is who will be cast as The Myth in the made for tv movie. Kepher Sutherland, Hue Laury, Jason Reynolds, or John Cena? Out of pure humor factor I want to be played by Cheech!
 
LOL, Jack Black already got the part as TheMyth. I hear they are in talks with Jessica Beil to play his love interest with lots of steamy hot scenes.

Rodja- Nice man, very very nice! Very generouse too!!!! This is going to be great, the members who really help out have deserved this for a long time!

We will have to figure out rules and such. Also, people who win the stacks or slo bottles and such I think will need to ay for shipping thats all, that way we don't go broke helping people out every month! lol
 
I was thinking more along the lines of the forum but your suggestion is good too. When you said it I pictured one guy specifically in my gym. I'll get to know him tonight.

I was thinking of making playlists to listen to in the gym...
becoming more active...
answering posts faster....
making Myth club answer a majority of the posts on the board....
have a rep on each board that knows what they are talking about...
lol idk...

oh yeah... and if anyone wants to donate some stuff to the Im a broke college kid fund, Ill always be here! :wave:

As a computer tech, I could prolly help people at more with their computer problems rather than with other questions.....

Those are all great ideas!!! Right now btw, my fav song on the radio is Pork and Beans by Weezer. O and also, A Punk by Vampire Weekend!

You're a technician? I'm a network technologist.. CCNP in routing.
 
I just dont like paying twice as much for half the hardware....
and an all proprietary system doesnt suit me at all...
some people dig apple...
not me...
but im not gonna rip into them lol.
they are what they are.
and they are good at what they do.
but sometimes even macs need support.

currently im a junior at Penn State Univ and am interning as a technician. I am majoring in Design and development so I program alot... I work as a technician for the university and for a private company just to make some extra cash. Everything is so expensive. Gas just hit 4 bucks here. In the end, everyone has to bow to the all mighty dollar i guess.

3 years and I've yet to have a problem with my iMac. I'm never going back to PC.

well Im glad your computer does what you need it to. It seems to be a good fit then. I use my pc to program and to play high performance games. So apple just cant suit my needs. Someday when I have extra money Ill look into one to play around with but for now... Ill stay a broke college kid. lol

Do some good and receive.

Apple is good for the picture editing etc. PC's advantage is simply because most people have it. And even though Apple is Linux based, you can still have troubles with it.

IMO, the biggest advantage of an Apple is that practically no viruses exist for it, so no need for an antivirus, and this accelerates the speed big time.

This is the main advantage for me.
 
I use symantec and avg. neither of which tax my system running quietly in the background. The problem with apple is that there are no viruses or exploits for it, until one suddenly pops up. Then they are completely vulnerable until apple can fix it. This has happened a few times that I can think of.


We shoul dalso start a post called something like post good things you have done this week or month or whatever then give away a prize to the best

Thats awesome JJohn, I got my ccna a while ago and just started working with cisco products again. I was actually just thinking about dropping the networking stuff and going into Physical Therapy. Working with computers is too boring for me, I like to be around people so I was planning on going for teaching but I am inbetween that and PT now.

Well, that's really cool. I like to be around people too. This is why I'm doing a bachelor part time in administration. Maybe a masters after that.. We'll see..
 
Let me talk to the boss man, I might be able to toss in something from LG once every month or two. But I need a title if I'm gonna be in a club. And we need more of this...

I did a halfironman triathlon last week.

1.2 mile swim
56 mile bike
half marathon(13.1 mile run)

I saw a guy on the side of the road all cramped up, I gave him my salt pills. 5 miles later he came flying by me said HEY MAN THANKS YOU SAVED MY RACE!

3 miles later I hit the wall and slowed WAY down with the heat when I realized I had given away all my salt tabs. Barely finished the race and immediately was put in the medical tent for electrolytes for 2 hours.

BUT I still set a personal record and qualified for the long distance championship in Vegas :)

Does that count as doing a good thing or just stupid lol :)
