My gut feeling after watching the Countdown show and the My Fox vids - Sherk FTW!

I suspect the Shark has improved his striking enough to hang with Penn on his feet and GNP or decision for a win , to my eye, physically soft Penn who is flat out wrong if he thinks that Sherk is mentally weak and can be broken.

GNP? yeah- I suspect that Sherk has learned how to close on the ground,he's changed his sparring, no LNP Franca style fight this time. I think he's now too strong , fast, fit and short of limb to make the Hughes/Stevenson Give up the Back RNC mistake.

Just my gut feeling.

Sherk brought in some serious jitz guys from Brazil to train with too if you watched that MyFox video. I don't see him getting subbed unless BJ has him rocked out of his mind.

As far as the contest goes, sorry Rogue, you and Savage better sit this one out. :lol:

I enjoyed meeting Jacob and the entire USP Labs 'crew' - they were all amazing to work with. Las Vegas is definitely not my city, though. It's too synthetic. I did get an autograph from Hendo and spoke with him for about 15 minutes. He is really humble, and probably appreciated that I knew his fights from Pride. A co-worker saw Dana White as well.

Vegas is VERY synthetic, but I really like BIG CITY excitement. That's pretty cool that you met Hendo and actually spoke with him. I met (saw) Randy Couture and Keith Jardine, but I didn't have the guts to approach them.

Ever since Alex made that video of Jardine power skanking down the street, its all I think about when Jardine's name pops up.

He was there for Zantrax, or something similar, promoting a fat-loss product. When I realized he was there, I went over and spoke with him for awhile. The expo was not general public access, so he wasn't overwhelmed with TUF-jock strappers - that gave me adequate time to talk to him.

He is a seriously laid back fighter, and incredibly humble. He gave props to Anderson's strength, actually. I think I made his day by saying his knockout of Wandy was one of my faves from that year. He told me Sokoudju needs to improve his ground game before he is dangerous (duh). I didn't know he cornered Souk before that. I was surprised about his candidness about Souk's weaknesses - that was super refreshing.
