Yeah you're right it is geared more towards the awkward giant types, but Zydrunas got 2nd a few years in WSM too. A lot of the better Americans are in IFSA rather than WSM like Ortmayer, Poundstone, Macdonald. MacDonald actually beat Nee on True Life in that contest where he was trying to earn his pro card. Also, Virastuk competes in IFSA these days since you asked a while back what happened to him. I guess it's a matter of tastes between WSM and ISFA. It's cool to be strong and athletic too like Marius not a giant clutz like Filhou.

Are you still going to try strongman when you're 100%?

Yeah, those guys are unbelievable. I like how they posture like they're hardasses when singing. I guess they're Canadian. Leave it to Canada to make an even lamer/more ridonkulous version of Nsync. I actually watched everything I could find on those guys on youtube because of how entertaining they were.

Yeah, that's a classic. All of Ghengis Khan's stuff seems decent to good. I think Daley's gonna be big. He's got amazing potential. He'd tear GSP up in the standup.

We speculated that Norris actually made those videos. He still seems to pop in and stir up trouble here and there. It's not all strongman and gay bands, I think there some clips of a dude closelining the Giant as well ;)

I read that Daley has retired and the UFC has just signed Dan Hardy.

Yeah, a regular regime of Hands, Knives, Pistols, Rifles and the occasional Brenneke Slug for the fun of it.
 
Semtex did retire, but he scheduled a fight in Cage Rage soon I think. He was headed toward Shields in EXC early this year. That would have been a bad matchup for him.

Alex isn't sold on Hardy and I haven't seen enough of him, but he's exciting from what I've observed.
 
Yeah, Hardy is meh, he's OK. He's no Semtex, fightwise, personality wise, and I doubt he'd let you bang his mum.

It looked like the dog jumped to me. You can see it get ready to pounce.
 
The dog definetly jumped on it's on, and I'm sure it's okay.

Consider that the other dog is keeping up with the truck, so at max, it's probably running 20-25 realistically. If the dog can run that fast, the other dog could easily survive a fall at that speed.
 
I'm not too sure that the dog jumped on it's own, but even if it did, why would you let it? I'm sure the dog lived, but it might have gotten injured.
 
It probably broke its legs or something, which isn't a good situation for a canine. It seems to really piss you off when someone hurts an animal. Maybe Poly could post that weird cat sailing across a sea video to make you feel better. :blink:
 
Poly's vid did make me feel much better. I really want to go to a bar with you and Poly and watch his game, I imagine it is pretty entertaining. Yeah, it really pisses me off when people fvck with animals, it says a lot about them as a person, obviously.
 
I shed tears while watching that. The drums at the start send a childhood like chill through my spine. CC let the Pride song down.

Nothing pisses me off more than an insecure dumbass who has to hurt an animal to feel like theyre hard. I will gladly hurt a dumbass person, but a dumbass animal, no way.

I have yet to hook up cable after my recent move, so I have been watching a lot of my old MMA vids. I forgot how great of a year 2004 was for Pride! The heavyweight tournament had some amazing fights.

Iron Ring reminds me of the summer when I worked with 3 ghetto a$$ dudes from Southeast D.C., draining and acid cleaning pools. It was quite an adventure. I learned a lot. At one point I was about 75% certain that they were going to try to kill me.

Man, the Akiyama entrance music is half the reason why I love him so much. That song is amazing. It really touches me deeply..........rock hard.

Sarah Brightman with Bocelli. I noticed it in the Genghis Con video. The chorus is actually really powerful.

I love the pleading for forgiveness look on his face as Akiyama walks in holding his training partners hands for his Misaki fight. It's mildly sleezy which is part of the reason I love the dude.

Thomson completely dominated him. He was slipping punches, landing nasty body kicks all fight, picking him apart with punches and front kicks, and scoring some nice TDs.
 
Wow, I'm surprised. I figured Thomson might win the first round or 2, but Melendez would outwork him and possibly finish in the 4th or 5th. The Punk is a talented guy, that has seemed to underachieve.
