I like it, I started a similar thread on release day. I left some cheats there. Also, if you're having trouble with the game freezing up on you on the ps3, making sure to sign out of the playstation network
before starting the game is the only workaround for now. If you ask me, that shouldn't have anything to do with the single player portion of the game, so it seems a bit suspect to me as far as why
a person being connected to the network would interfere with anything. Makes me wonder what kind of data transfers might be going on we don't know about.

thanx for the info but im playing on a x-box 360 and i haven't had any problems so far. its a very smooth playing game so far, i remember they were suppoesed to release it almost a whole year ago but they delayed the release im betting there were a few bugs to work out yet. i didn't realize there was already a thread on this, do you by any chance know the cheats for the 360 version?

i have a feeling this game is going to have some serious problems from angry parents with their kids playing it. i remember the old ones had issues with this and this one is actually worse imo, theres a level where you go to a strip club that borders on soft core porn and that is not very kid friendly

yeah, I can't wait til parents figure out finally after about 13 years or so of video games having age suggestions, that Mature means rated R, so they can stfu. I never see parents publicly b!tching at hollywood over R rated movies, yet for some reason the video game equivalent seems to offend the general public.

The new hooker AI is incredible!!!
Seriously though the game play/story line is immensely impressive (both on detail/depth/quality of story but the sheer amount of it). Have yet to get online to roam around with my buddies but looking forward to it.
The online game is just as impressive as the single player game. They did a great job.

hey if you want I made an oblivion save where I took a hair band and tied it to my controller for a few hrs. to get the sneak skill up to 100 at the very beginning of the game.

Oblivion is a great game jay. I played it to death when it came out. COD4 and GTA4 are simply amazing though. The online factor adds a whole new dimention to the whole experience.

I did it prior to leaving the castle sewers, and saved right at the grate, so you can create any kind of character you want and always have sneak at 100. The only thing I don't like about it is that even if you choose to have sneak as a minor skill, the agility bonus modifier is the only one you get every time you level up for the first few lvls. And if you use sneak as a major skill, you get like +5 to agility with no bonuses available for other stats, and immediately level up to level 8 or so. So, I highly recommend you choosing the warrior birth sign and endurance as one of your two
primary stats to ad some much needed health with each level as early as possible. I'll pm the save to ya, it's fun to play with, you can steal damn near anything from anyone, and your bow shots
while in stealth-crouch are deadly.

Oblivion was fun but I couldn't manage the patience to real dive in ya know?
Side note. For the first time ever the ****ing red ring of death pimp slapped me when I was going to go online in GTA for the first time. This has happened once and it fixed itself so I am hoping no need to use that extended warranty. For now its back to good ole blitz 2000 and Mario on 64 (oh and GTA 3 on PS2 lol).
