Putting USP on the spot again (;)), and askin' yalls' feelings on the outcome of P-Slin supplementation. As I mentioned in the thread I posted a little bit earlier, I'm contemplating usage of a complex carb supplement. I figure if I do, I will buy P-Slin (because of its response to CC's) and begin using my Chromium Picolinate. What are your thoughts?

I've taken P-slin by itself and it is amazing! I got increases in strength and endurance the first workout I took it before. The pumps I got from it were insane. I did notice some bloating from it but definately worth it, imo.

At first it seemed to work really well and then the pumps became so-so to almost non noticable after killin about 100 grams of carbs,

I agree, it does seem to lose its effectivness over time. However, when I added some creatine to the Pslin dose the pumps came back with a vengence.

At that point, I would suggest upping your carbohydrates, barring any adipose gain.

Both Anabolic Pump and P-Slin are literally improving your Insulin sensitivity. Your initial response will then lose prominence as you adjust to this sensitivity as P-Slin does not cause the 'pump', but facilitates it - the pump is the loading of glycogen into muscle cells.

P-Slin essentially raises the 'soft-cap' on the amount of glycogen your muscle cells will receive i.e., not only should you adjust your carbohydrate intake continually, the function of the product prescribes it. If you were eating 100g, try 120g, and so on. Obviously, use an initial weak to test bloat and VAT gain, however, I doubt that if it was initially working that would occur.

Funny, for me Pslin did not do anything, even when loading with 150+ carbs before my workout. I was a non responder to it. HOWEVER, Anabolic Pump was amazing stuff, felt it right away and didn't need nearly as many carbs. For me its AP all the way!

P-Slin has been incredible for me.. Just the other night I went to the Cheesecake Factory (yeah I know :donut:) for my mom's birthday. Anticipating the massive amounts of carbs and fat I would consume I popped 2 P-Slin prior to my meal. I swear when I tell you I didn't feel bloated, sick or stuffed afterwards, it was incredible. Now I know that's not what P-Slin is for but I feel it undoubtably minimized the damage.

Although this may be possible, we always have to consider perception vs. actual diminishing returns. At first, AP or P-Slin blows your mind, and that initial difference stands out to you... of course you'll become accustomed to that after a while. I think that's mainly the case, at least I havn't seen a decline in my 1.5 years with AP and 4+ months with P-Slin.

It does take some trickery for some people to really reap the full benefits however.. just have patience with it and attempt dosing in different ways. Personally, which I'm about to do in any minute now, is dose my P-Slin 90 mins before my workout. T-70 I'll have my meal, consisting of 60-100g carbs. T-15, just before I get out of the car to enter the gym, I'll eat a banana/apple/orange. It may or may not be the absolute best idea for body composition, but it CONSIDERABLY raises my endurance output. IMO an underrated product, specifically because of the variance it has between individuals.

But I keep reading how people "don't respond." Last time I checked, there wasn't any samples of this stuff, so you gentlemen must be in possession of a whole box of these goods. Experiment with it, because it does work. (or just give that shat to me, area code 01602 oraahhhhhh lol)

This man understands:cheers:

I'm on something like my 6th straight month of P-Slin and still loving it. Noticeable endurance effects and awesome pumps. Definitely one of those supplements that really stands out for me.

haha 6 months, I love it. The best part of P-SLIN and AP is that it's healthy. Reduces over secretion of insulin which becomes inflammatory especially the way bodybuilders eat!

P-Slin is awesome!

P-Slin works great. I had some phenomenal workouts when using it. AP works very well too, but for pre-workout...P-Slin just has that extra punch. I also noticed that the best pumps that I experienced from it were in my legs...similar to how someone else mentioned on BB.com.

One thing I want to point out though...the new NeoVar formula has similar type effects to P-Slin pre-workout as far as I have experienced. So I would say, if your already taking a creatine than get P-Slin to use as part of your pre-workout meal plan, but if your not using a creatine, than go with the new NeoVar when it is available.

Cheers!

I'm confused, have you tried it?

Hey, why not...both products kick ass!

The way I see it...I love both P-Slin and NeoVar. Its like I said...if you already have a creatine on hand...go P-Slin, if not go NeoVar. Its win-win as far as how I see it...lol. In a sense, I was promoting both products because I've used both and believe in both. Plus yeah it was kinda slick how I slipped that in there...lol...ya caught me...oh snap! :D

Cheers!

lol, hey he's a rook, give him a break! LOL, that wa sfuny though. I made that mistake once as a new rep, didn't really think before I said it. He will learn, we will take him out back and stone him with Pslin and Neovar bottles! HAHA

I think P-Slin has great versatility. I've done some fun things like stacked it with SteelEdge, etc. However, I've also enjoyed it as a stand-alone pre-workout. It's great if you want to take a 3-5 week hiatus from caffeine to let the you're body recover from stims. I feel P-Slin fills this gap perfectly, and it also encourages the importance of pre-workout nutrition with its emphasis on the ingestion of carbs.

Im currently cycling both products as per mullet's method -

AP 1 - 2 (weeks)

AP/P-SLIN 3 -4

P-SLIN 5 - 6

P-SLIN/AP - 7 - 8

Rinse, repeat. So you're taking a two week break off of each one, and still getting the wicked effects.

You certianly know about it coming back on, and get a little extra value for money thrown in to boot by extending your stash life.

Best workouts of your life, gauranteed! I did not come anywhere close to achieving this result. Played around with carbs/timing. Nothing. Just my experience
