How long before I feel/see a difference with Hcg

For me, it took about a few weeks to a month before I noticed it...

Are you using it to combat testicular atrophy, or as a monotherapy for hypogonadism?

3ml, how much does that work out to be in IU? Every other day? That sounds like a lot to me.

I use 250 units 2x/week and it works wonders.

Yea that sounds like a pretty big dose. I started about a wk ago. The results haven't been astronomical yet, but I feel good about it. I'm just taking it day by day. My regimen is 250 iu EOD.

I've seen some folks say they noticed a difference almost immediately. While others indicate about a month or so.
 
I am taking it for hypogonadism? All I know is that I extract all the way to the 3ml every other day. So that seems like a lot? My doctor said I could cut it and go to 1.5 every day. I was taking Androgel and it stopped me from producing sperm, there for I am basically starting over. I think that this is why the large amount. Does that make sense?
 
I was recently put on Androgel .... 1 1/2 weeks ago .... I fell really good right now, but notice that my semen is not a whole lot .... Is that what you experienced ?

It's like porage or curdled milk ....

That huge dose is within the dosing schedule in the Novarel literature. There is also a lesser schedule. Colkurtz was on a similar schedule, so he's probably a good source of info. Like you, he went from a transdermal to hCG monotherapy. I plan to go from Tcyp to hCG monotherapy, so I am interested in hearing about the transition.

colkurtz spf - I was worried because I have heard so many variations on Androgel ....

For the short time I have been on it I feel great .... The only concern I was having was that I have read that it has some effect on semen as an ejact*late .... I have noticed that mine is not as much as it used to be, but the fact that i am able to recover faster is promising ....

What are you doing as far as HRT ?
 
I have read that HCG doesn't help semen volume, and possibly HMG might.
I have been using HCG for about 2 weeks now and I feel much better but the effects are already starting to wear off, I don't feel the same intensity of wellbeing I used to, is this normal?
I am doing 100IU every day along with Arimidex and Testogel.

I am thinking about cycling it 1 month 100IU one month 50IU or something, or maybe I need to increase my dietary cholesterol because thats what it uses to create the hormones.

Thoughts?

I had been on Test cream in the past, but now I'm only running HCG. It works real well if your problem is in the hypothalmus and not the testes. You get all the benefits of testosterone and more. Any kind of exogenous test will shut down your testicles, shrink them and make you produce less semen, which is why a lot of people are including HCG in their regimen.

I wouldn't feel anything on 100 IUs per day either. As for semen volume, you're wrong. HCG will make your balls hang to your knees. You'll have enough seminal volume to put out a small fire. I find that I have an extra shot in the chamber. I guess you could say that I'm semi-automatic - not bad for 50.

My sense of well-being far exceeds what I felt on the cream or injections. My body now is able to produce it’s own in a natural rhythm. My brain function is superior, recovery time is quicker and muscle mass is up. It’s been like a trip down memory lane. It feels like 1978 all over again.

I was on HCG for a year between 2006 and 2007. I started back on it in December. In 2006, after a year on test cream I started with 5000 IUS twice per week for the first two months and continued with 4000IUs twice per week for the next ten. At one point my TT was over 1400 and FT at 425.

In December I started back with 1000 IUs twice per week. After 6 weeks my TT was 957 and FT at 233. I'm now trying 1000 three times per week and it feels much better because I don't have a four day lapse between doses. I always draw Monday mornings approximately 36 hours after my Saturday evening shot. HCG peaks in 36 hours so I don't anticipate a difference in my numbers based on the new dose alone. However, I've noticed that numbers can go up over time regardless of changes in dose. I've actually had my highest levels after a dose reduction. I would cut back to counter an increase in estrogen and add Arimidex. The combination would boost both my free and total levels.

I should add that in addition to HCG I take 75 mg of DHEA in the morning and 25 mg of progesterone at night. I started progesterone this cycle. My doctor believes that it can make HCG more effective.
 
Thats interesting, arnt you afraid of inducing desensitization, and how is the progesterone going?

And is the DHEA-s worth adding to HCG?

I was afraid of desensitization a year ago which is why I stopped. However my apprehension was born exclusively from these boards. I actually found no connection between the one study posted and the reality of my situation. The results of the study were inconclusive and irrelevant - at least in my doctor's opinion.

After eight months off of everything but DHEA, I started back on one quarter my previous dose and had good results. I suppose that means 8000 to 10,000 IUs HCG per week for one year didn't desensitize me. Could I become desensitized in the future? I suppose it could happen for many reasons including age. When I'm faced with that situation I will turn to the best alternate. It may be exogenous test or something else. Medicine doesn't seem to stand still, so we shall see.

I've been on DHEA for two years - not because of HCG therapy. My level was low. I don't notice a difference with progesterone, but it may account for why lower doses of HCG are working.
 
this is my 3rd week on HCG and the feeling has just died all of a sudden, I thought it was cause I switched to shorter needles but this morning I used the 1/2" and I still feel as though I might aswell just be injecting the BAC water.

I felt great for the 1st 12 or so days but the past few days the effect has sharply declined.

I dont think its a batch issue because this happened halfway through a vial not since I opened a new amp.

I am glad that you stay the course with HCG and did not got scared.

I suspect that there are many (secondary) men injecting testosterone needlesly, while they can get by with HCG only and possibly with better over all feel.

Okay so this afternoon I just mixed up a new batch, I was very careful with handling the HCG and mixing it, I minimalized the rough housing of it by squirting in the saline by running it down the side of the ampule, sucking it out gently and putting it in the vial by making it run down the side of the vial and already having the BAC water in there. Hopefully I will feel it tomorrow morning but I doubt it.

This is reminding me of when grandpa Simpson starts complaining to the nurse at his retirement village and she just says "ok looks like its time to double your medication"

HCG may have ramped up your estradiol. It appears this is what has happened to me. At about the mid-way point, positive effects seemed to diminish. And the batch couldn't have went bad that soon. My E2 went up high. And I was doing 200 iu EOD.
 
I just began both HCG (2000 ml) and Testosterone (1 ml) weekly. Anyone have an idea of when I can expect to feel a lil better. My test numbers are less than 1! so just wanna know when I can expect to feel something.
