Tattoo Removal

Besides the laser removal I don't think there is another way to get rid of them. All you can do it do cover up tats or pay the laser.

More tattoos.

I second this!!!Cover it up with a better one!!!I would ask why you got a tattoo if you're now wanting to get rid of it.But I already know the answer.Back in the day they would cut them out.I don't know exactly how,but my Grandpa did it to his first wifes name, and then had his second wifes name put in there(my Grandma's).I started to think maybe he was messing with us and I was young when I was told about it,but I heard them mention it on the news. He's dead now or I would ask him.I don't get people who have tattoos removed.Just like some don't get people who get tattoos in the first place.

Their is a ink like thing that the artist can tattoo over the tattoo, that is supposed to make the body reject the ink for whatever reason.I think they still do several sessions, and i'm not sure the price.I think I remember seeing it was cheaper than laser removal. You have to find a special artist to do it I balieve. Not a whole lot make a living at removing them.(shakes head)

I know there are ointments and balms that dissolve the ink over time, but it'd take about 11-12 months to completely fade the tattoo. Expecting to take a lot of time and being patient, plus spending a good chunk of change. Try looking it up on BMEzine.

Laser tattoo removal

Besides laser removal, does anyone know/ tried any tattoo removal systems that work?

I wont suggest any other, laser tattoo removal is best option.
Although laser tattoo removal is a costly affair but it still has many advantages which gives laser treatment an edge over other procedures such as dermabrasion, salabrasion, excision, or saline tattooing.

• Laser tattoo removal is relatively painless procedure as compared to other methods.

• Normally the area blisters after the treatment but the chances of infection or permanent scarring are minimal.

• Unlike excision method, laser treatment can handle both small as well as large tattoos.

• Some methods manage to only fade the tattoo rather than its complete removal. Comparatively, laser treatment guarantees far better results.

And make sure thats laser tattoo removal is performed by professional.

I'm in the process of having one removed via laser treatment. Removal does burn quite a bit(both literally and figuratively) but the pain isn't too bad. If anything it's akin to the pain of getting one or perhaps slight more painful. 10 treatments so far at $150/pop and probably another 5 to go. Sorry, no pics though, I'm trying to get rid of the damn thing.

What is it?when did you get it?It's not a womans name is it?

that wrecking balm site is set up like an old con-man tent. can't be a good sign.

you could probably get away with using those products to FADE the tattoo, but to completely remove it, i dont know. i mean, i have a full sleeve tattoo. theres no product short of sulfuric acid that will get rid of that baby, not that i'd want to.

but i tell ya, the man who invents something that removes tattoos, will be a RICH, RICH MAN.

Most the peole on this site are already fading their tattoos with their skin aging cancer fishing.(tanning)I have some tattoos too and I dont get the people who get one and get rid of it.They clearly didn't want it bad enough,or just aren't the typ to have one.Yet they get one anyways. :nono: Then theirs the womans name........:nono: :nono:

Where is it and how big is it? This is like a game now. Maybe we can guess and you can just say "YES" or "NO" for each question :)

Everyone take this as a message.......DONT GET TRIBAL!!!!I seen a tattoo shop whos motto was "we got the tattooo for you, even if it's some gay ass tribal sh!t."No offense warren, you obvisouly don't like it or I wouldn't of said anything at all.Theirs just absolutely no uniqueness or meaning to a tribal tattoo.

I know a guy who has Fvck The World tattooed on his stomach. He says it reminds him of his younger punk days when he just didn't give a fvck.

yeah, people make mistakes and shouldnt foget them imo its who we are, and mistakes are also what makes us who we are today.

and yeah take the advice dont get tribal, unless its a meaningfull one ike the hawaii or new zeland ones, which im tring to see if i can get something incorperated like that to give it some meaning now , somehow show how i have progressed. or a jap one as im interested in jap culture

A good tat is so rare, that's coming from someone who would probably never get one though. I see 1000 awful ones for every 1 decent looking one. I once worked with a guy that had "redneck" tatted on his neck, he wasn't lying.

I don't know where some people get theirs. It has to be jail/prison or by someone with a homemade gun who's not trained. Some people just want one so bad that they just get something. One time I was in a shop and a guy was trying to fugure out what he could get for $50.00!I told him to save up and come back and he's all well i'm broke and thats easy for you to say. What a dumba$$!!!

how about the brands that black dudes get, that's hardcore.

It's straight up nasty.I klnow a white guy with some, but his are just marks. They're not all raised and everything. He said you have to tear them open to make them look more "pronounced" and thats what he was shooting for.Said some peoples do the raising and others don't.I asked if it hurt and he said some tattoos hurt worse.Ihave a big one on my right rib cage and it hurt like hell.I don't see how a branding would hurt less.Maybe cause it's real quick.......idk.The guy was wanting a small star.Just the outline. My artist said it would be about the size of a quarter for $50.The guy was then trying to figure out where to put it.His friend suggested around a nipple.(GAY!!!!)All the while my artist was talking sh!t about him the whole time.

that would be hilarious if he put it around his nipple, good lord. Refreshing to know that your tattoo artist was aware that the guy was a tool. The whole branding thing is a bit ridiculous to me. I've seen guys in their late 30's with those that I assume they got in college and they look far worse than the college guys that obviously got them somewhat recently.

I've seen the tattoo and it is ugly. Obviously he chooses not to divulge any info on it so I will repsect that. But I think it was decent at one time until he crashed his motorcycle and sustained some nasty road rash that compromised the tat.

Now that makes sence for having a tattoo removed!Although he should be able to have it touched up.Probably cheaper too.
