Just got a box of this from NutraPlanet (with bottle inside, of course--very nice packaging!).

I opened it this morning, and when I pulled out the cotton, a small plume of white powder dusted my counter. And all of the pills have a white powder coating.

What's weird is the quantity of white powder, I mean it's everywhere! Everything had been packed in pretty tight with the cotton, though.

Has anyone else noticed this? Should I be concerned?

When you have a chance, dump out the contents of the bottle carefully onto a plate or something and take a look at the caps. It sounds as if a few might have busted. Let me know what it looks like in there. Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. Here are two pics, but I don't have a count of how many pills were broken (from the mess, and that only very small sections of individual pills broke, it'd be a daunting task to count them all).

What should I do at this point?

damn man that really blows. Nothing worse then getting ur supps ( you feel like a kid in a candy store) get home and its all nasty, (like dropping ur candy on the floor). For the amount of products that companies put out though i guess u have to understand that those things will evidently happen once in awhile.

If I am remembering correctly, a little while back, the capper used the wrong capsules for a few batches or something. The caps were a bit too fragile and started to show up broken. It's popped up here and there, but nothing that we aren't able to make good on.

Just float me off that e-mail and I'll get ya fixed up. :D

I had that happen it was only 1 capsule no big deal dust them off with a paper towel .
I am suprised companies dont just use the cheaper but better gel capsules they simply dont crack open like these plastic capsules.

Though I'm not sure what the inner-workings of the cappers are, this seems only to be happening with StimX. I actually have a bottle at home that I just cracked open 2 days ago with the same thing. Atleast the powder doesn't have a noticeable nasty taste to it!! :P Perhaps I'll just collect it up and try to snort dat badboy.

You are not eating plastic capsules. AX has a little more concern for your health than that (please don't eat plastic). These are all made from gelatin. The issue lies more along the lines of osmosis. The actives are very "hygroscopic" (absorbs moisture from anything nearby), this dehydrates the gel caps, making them brittle.

I was told by a rep that the wrong size caps were used for a batch.

More likely you were told that there was an issue with the capper a while back using the wrong caps for 'em, not the wrong size. I've said that a few times, and answered many of e-mails on the subject. Eh, stuff happens sometimes. It don't N E Mo!
 
I had the same problem. with my bottles. out of 3 I got one that hadn't boke up. none however compared to the original version. They had it 100% then messed it up. I woul dpay dearly for some of the old School stimulant x (rumored to be coming back)
