Yeah, The Corey's didn't really pan out. I was banking on both of them to be more ridiculous, but they were only mildly retarded and not very entertaining. Lost Boys 2, they really shouldn't.

Haim ( or as I call him Heyyyyyayyyyym - see Jamie Fox as Wanda on In Living Color) is not in it. I saw the trailer when I rented a movie recently. The Corey's blew. I was hoping they'd be sniffing coke off of strippers tits and stuff.

Nothing will ever be able to touch the E true hollywood story on Haim. He was completely incoherent, and just stumbled around saying hilarious sh*t that made no sense. In his spare time he would fingerpaint and play with a little keyboard. On The Coreys, Feldman broke the news to Haim that he wasn't going to be in the movie and Haim broke down, it was pretty good. Feldman, to further make Haim feel like sh*t, neglected to tell Haim that he was only going to be in it as a joke camio. I remember Fox as Wanda, but can't put anything together.

Yeah, Haim was a fvcking blob in that True Hollywood story. He was one messed up dude. Can't believe he's not dead.
 
Don't get me wrong, that would've been a big hit with the majority of this board. I always thought I was hilarious when hammered until someone taped a whole nights worth of conversation. Good lord, I fvcking blow.

It's amazing how much damage a person can take. Have you seen Jeff Conway from the Celebrity Rehab show? Amazing.
 
Personally, I think swank is the biggest waste of MMA talent. I mean, several instructors waste countless hours trying to bring him up to speed, on a regular basis!!!

Im sure that has had a big impact on him, but its really not what derailed his career. Even before this occurred he had a tendency to not "show up" for fights. The 1st and 3rd fight with couture are good examples of this. He also got beat by saku and his win over Herring was complete bs. Herring CLEARY won that fight. Its ok though rodja, its a common misconception. :lol:

U pull off a triangle and now you think you're the shizz. He should have lost the fight with Herring, but he broke both of his hands in the fight with Saku. I agree that he is the biggest headcase in MMA, but he is one of the more athletically gifted fighters as well.

The Herring fight was ridiculous. Herring was responsible for like 80% + of the action and then the 10 kg difference overcame that. Then for Hunt-Wandy the 10 kg difference had no effect in a fight that was about 50-50???

We were doing GnP drills and as I attempted to pass, he threw the triangle and caught me. The Rampage was pretty much the same thing as the Arona slam. I went for a triangle and transitioned to an armbar, but he picked me up and I fell a few feet to the mat. In a way, I'm glad though because that means he is almost ready for his debut.
 
Did he headbutt when your head bounced off the matt...that pissed me off when I watched that fight...

I know it was unintentional, but I was an Arona fan for a while.

I did when I saw it in real time. After they re-played it a million times from every vantage point possible I felt a little better.

Like I said, I was an Arona fan then and I was just "hatin'".

Rampage grows on you. The more I see of him the more I wonder how I didn't like him in the past.
 
You liked the electrifying and humble Arona but hated Page? That's insane, but I'm glad you saw the light though.
 
I know...it's weird, right? When I first started watching Pride I thought Rampage was a joke and I couldn't get past his big chain and howling. The more I saw him though (in and out of the ring), the more I liked him. I didn't realize how much of a sense of humor he has.
 
That slam would have KO'd anyone, except for maybe Fedor and Hunt. Rampage simulated it on that Sport Science show and their impact readings were off the charts. Scary part is that he didn't put his hips into it nearly as much as he did to Arona.

I'm not aiming it at you, I just hate how Arona still blames the head-butt for him being KO'd. Arona does not have the greatest of chins...

I got over Arona a while ago and moved onto following better fighters, IE: Frank Mir :run:
 
Oh no. Theirs a handful of MW's that would kick Mir's a$s. I can't believe they allow him to fight in the UFC after the ass kickings that Vera, Christianson, and Cruz put on him. If theirs ever any doubt about Mir's ability, please watch his fight against B level 205er Ian Freeman.

Penn's done a lot. Pretty much nobody can touch him. He looked great at 170, beating Hughes and basically drawing with GSP. Now he'll dominate 155 for a while. Sure, I guess with his talent he could be undefeated, but he's done quite a bit with his talent, and IMO, is only improving.
